CONFUCIUS SAYS....BUDDAH SPOKE...JESUS LIVES

My hubby likes to research things and write about it. He has done hundreds of papers since I have known him and he is very well informed about our government, politics, the world affairs and such. But he recently has researched  Buddhism and Hinduism.  The similarities are stunning and the references to Christianity are interesting.

If you ever want a copy of his writings let me know and I can e mail anything he has written about to you. Ask and you shall receive!

But the weather is gorgeous today and I don't want to turn my blog into a political soapbox or anything so I will share some quotes from these religions with you. Choose your favorite and share it with me. You can also share any of your own favorites here too.

I will start out silly as he came across a page of funny Confucius quotes. This one cracked me up, "Man who lay woman on ground gets peace on earth." I am not a dirty minded girl but this made me laugh!

5.  "Just as a candle can not burn without fire, men can not live without a spiritual life."

6. "Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without."

5.""But the Lord is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3

6. "But the Lord said to Samuel,"Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees man not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance , but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel: 16:7

I liked this post.

Wouldn't mind seeing some of those papers of your husband's. Maybe he should consider opening a blog! I like reading and learning about people's takes on things.
