A REFLECTION INTO THE PAST

I am not sure my wedding bliss post will really reflect the love I have for my hubby or the cherished memories of my late parents and favorite aunt and uncle but I am showing  wedding photos. My modern wedding 26 years ago and the wedding of my parents, look at those cally lilies my mom was carrying. Then my aunt Ang and Uncle Louie. They had a very modern wedding for 1946 and my aunt wore a  suit. She was always a trendsetter. Uncle was quite debonair in his double breasted suit. My first born daughters wedding is here and  you can wish her and her hubby 10 years of wedding bliss this August. I was a May bride, my mom and daughter Noelle August brides and my aunt and uncle October.I also have a picture of my favorite Noelle bride doll. She has an unusual face and her gown is exquisite.

I don't want to whine but I have been sick with Vertigo for nearly three weeks and then the migraine headaches.  So I have missed out on much but love all of you for stopping by here today and ask you to please go visit Stephanie at http://angelicaccents.blogspot.com/ and thank her for hosting this romantic meme.

Very sweet photos. You are so right. The size of the wedding will never capture the love that comes in years of marriage. I hope you'll be better very soon.

Love the wedding photos. My mom wore a suit also. I think that was the trend in the late 40's early 50's. Happy anniversary to your beautiful daughter, and I hope you'll be feeling better soon. I know I get vertigo too sometimes and it puts me completely down.

So glad I did not miss your wedding post. How beautiful you are along with all the other lovely brides. This was a good way to get to know everyone. I just hated being divorced and using my first love but he was my dream wedding. haha
My mom wore a suit too. Never thought much of it til you mentioned it here.

Dear Anne, first, I'm so very sorry that you aren't feeling well. My FIL had vertigo so bad that it would make him nauseauous, so I know just a bit of what you must be going thru.

I'm so glad you were able to join our WEDDING BLOG PARTY! You have some remarkable wedding photos of sweet generations there! Just priceless. My, how the styles change! But the one thing that doesn't change are the happy smiles on everyone's faces. You were a beautiful bride, such a handsome couple you and your husband are. So are your sweet aunt and uncle and your beautiful daughter and her groom! Your mother's wedding portrait is absolutely stunning!

Thanks so much for joining us for the WEDDING BLOG PARTY! Take care and feel better soon!

Big Hugs,
Stephanie

Hi Anne,
I'm sorry you're not feeling well. My mother suffers from Vertigo quite often ever since she had her first stroke. Nasty!

Your wedding photos are just wonderful! How nice that you have them and were able to share them for the wedding party. I especially like your mother's photo.

I want to thank you for stopping by and leaving your wonderful comment on my wedding post. Everyone has been so lovely about it. The funny thing is, I almost didn't participate because I honesty didn't think I had much to share.

Hope you're feeling better soon and able to enjoy your summer. Take care.

Blessings,
Sandi

I love to look at wedding pictures. Thanks for sharing.

About your vertigo have you gone in to anyone? I had a friend who just got over it after weeks - at the doctor they hold your head and move it in a certain pattern. It helped her.

Bonjour Anne,
How did I miss this? All these beautiful ladies in your family ( and very handsome gentlemen I might add)! Your mother's dress was exquisite.
Please take care. I know everyone has their own remedy, but when my migraines hit I use a scalding hot water bottle. Mine starts in front and moves to the back and then I'm off with a full blown version with vertigo, naseau, the works. Make it as hot as you can and go to bed!
Will pray for a speedy recovery my dear friend!
