MEET BOOTS

Welcome to Tuesday's Show and Tail! Please visit Angela here.
She is hosting this weekly meme. So come join the fun.
Tonight I want you to meet Boots. He is my big kitty cat. He is Boots also known as Mr. Kitty and "Reggie". We have had him for 10 years. He was born on our wedding anniversary and he was a gift to our middle daughter. She favored the dog Tink that just passed away so Boots and I became good buddies. He sleeps at my feet and when I am sick he always spoons me by laying next to me. If I don't wake up right away he will stand on me and look me directly in the eye! He is a precious pet. He has a "got milk" white spot on his face and he is very intelligent. He mourned the loss of his good friend "Shadow" in 2001.He mourned the loss of Tink in May this year and he took to Rose, our youngest sons cat like a duck to water! Our older son called him Mr. Kitty and when he meows he sounds just the way Reggie Rivers talks! If you don't know who Reggie Rivers is let me tell you. He is a  professional broadcaster that was a pro football player. He was a running back for the Denver Broncos. Reggie's voice does not match his physical appearance. So we have always called him Reggie because he sounds like him when he meows!
I love my Boots. He is my big boy and he is a sweetheart. When I am sad I talk to him and he always has a comforting look. When I have felt that no one cares about me he gives a look! I know beside Jesus Christ I can count on Boots. He is a life long friend.
Now here are some pictures of him I took tonight. He is a lazy bones so he looks tired. I  am showing you a couple photos of Reggie Rivers.
Happy Show and Tail today!

What a handsome young fella! Animals sure do have a keen sense of what ails us. I just love the way animals get our attention or make sure we are alright.

What a cutie Boots is! He reminds me of one of my cats named Boogie! She had a complete mustache. He sounds like a sweet heart!

Thanks for sharing Boots with us this week!

It is wonderful that you cherish your pet like a good friend. My SIL's Scooby dog is the same for her - and she treats him like a little baby, he is so spoiled! But he returns that love, and it shows in his eyes when he looks at her!

HI Anne..aww..I love Mr. Boots. What a sweet kitty. My cat Bubba used to sleep with me every night...right next to my face on my pillow!!! Oh and "Mr. Kitty"...I have a stuffed pink cat that I made in kindergarten named Mr. Kitty. If I ever find him, I'll put him on display on my blog :) :) :)
