Old Age Survival Kit for My Milestone Birthday December 3rd

My middle daughter Rebekah is so creative! She made me this "Old Age Survival Kit". Some people think I should be offended but I think it is hilarious!
The sock tag says "Sit back and kick up your feet. Relax, you deserve it. I will need these tonight. The temps here dropped from 58 degrees to 20! Brrr....
A jar filled with dirt cause you know, I am older than dirt!

Act II Popcorn! Welcome to another stage of life, play your part well!
Anti wrinkle soap! HaHa! Actually it is a bar of good soap for your face!

Age is a question of mind over matter.  If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.  ~Leroy "Satchel" Paige

A bottle of Tums, Laughter is the best medicine but when it isn't enough, try the medicine cabinet!
Life is a puzzle. Just in case you haven't figured out the "big" picture here is one you can! Love these pink piggies!
A tag for the reading glasses, so I can read all those prescription bottles!
Ok, I have poor eyesight anyway so I can relate to this one for sure!
An instant face lift- duct Tape! LOL!
Some Aspirin and Ibuprofen, for all the new little aches and pains! Believe me, I do relate to this one!
Some "Hot : candy in the form of Hot Tamales to put some fire back in my life! LOL! This girl should know her mama is "This Girl Is On Fire".  Yes I am!
Some "Chill Pills" from Mike and Ike so I can take one immediately after any unfortunate encounter with an angry, annoying, ignorant or otherwise unpleasant individual!
Batteries, "To help  keep me going and going and going!
A bib to catch the drooling when I nap!
Paper Clips to hold it all together!
Clothes pins to help with the snoring!
An elastic hair tie to give me my flexibility back!

Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wing of time. Jean Paul

I had a wonderful day. I had my mammogram early this morning and took my honey to the urgent care. He has bronchitis so after some anti-biontics and an inhaler  I am hopeful he is on the road to recovering quickly. We had lunch at Fridays and enjoyed some soup and salad before the cold wintry weather started to settle in.

"Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life." Proverbs 16:31

Remember to follow me and leave a comment so you can be entered into my giveaway. It is a great surprise and ends December 14th. If I hit 300 followers I am going to add another surprise to my giveaway. I am not usually interested in numbers, I am not a numbers cruncher by nature but I thought 300 had a nice ring to it!

Does anyone else have problems with blogger?   I can not put my new post up because it will not allow me! Arrrgh.....Plus lots of difficulties everywhere today! Prayer please.

These are so cute and I speak from the perspective of someone who saw 60 three years ago. The duct tape made me laugh out loud. I wish it was that easy. I'm with your honey. I've got bronchitis, too, and it's not been fun. Luckily the antibiotics are working. Prayers for a quick recovery.

What a terrific sense of humor has Rebekah! Like Carol said, the duct tape had me chuckling.

Hope your hubby is feeling MUCH better real soon!
