Love is.../Blue Monday

I am a Merry Christmas kinda gal but this Love is..was too cute to pass on! We may have some snow for Christmas Day.

This is my Nativity from Avon (1981). I have had this little shelf for a long while. I set the angel plate near my Nativity and of course, my hubby's picture of The Lord, New American Standard Bible
"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. He has carried with this him since he was in high school and it has graced our front doorway since we married in 1984. Only the angel is sharing her blue today.
We had a lovely lunch with the phamily at Casa Bonita after church today. There was plenty of blue everywhere. I just wish the Christmas lights were showing up here! The child in the photo was watching the cliff divers.
Noelle and Roger and they are both wearing blue. Her shirt is a Dallas Cowboy t shirt that says "Real Women Like the Dallas Cowboys!

We were not wearing blue, but we had a great time with the kids.
Casa Bonita's Nativity was lovely. I am always happy when I see them. After all, Christmas is a celebration of Christ's birth.
Rebekah and Zach (blue shirt) had a great time too. We have celebrated many birthdays at Casa Bonita when the kids were small.
Jeremy with Brittany and her daughter Addy. The photo bomber was wearing blue! LOL! But Addy had a fairy doll and a stuffed toy, also in blue!
Nick and Colton had fun running thru the cave here and enjoying the food and atmosphere. Nick's sweatshirt has a bit of blue in it.
I hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful Christmas and I will be visiting you soon. Stop by Sally's and visit some blues.

Hi Anne,

Long ago--in 1977--I visited Casa Bonita and absolutely was blown away by it! What a fun place to visit and eat. I'm glad to learn it's still doing a good business.

Merry Christmas and Happy Blue Monday!

What a lovely family you have. Your photos are wonderful. I love the palm trees in the background. (at least they look like palm trees)

Your Christmas collectibles are beautiful. I used to collect tea cup and saucer sets. Several years ago though, I gave most all of them away.

Enjoy your Holiday. God Bless. Hugs, Edna B.

Your lovely family photos remind me of my family back in the Philippines. It's been 14 years since I last celebrated Christmas with them. I miss them a lot!

Here's to a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

Hello, Hope you are having a wonderful December and will have a blessed Christmas… This is such a joyful time of year for so many—but it’s also the time when others experience a deep loneliness, and struggle during the holidays for many reasons. SO—today I ask you to stop what you are doing for a few minutes and say a prayer for someone you know who might be experiencing a hard time now… OR—better still, send them a card or give them a call. It will mean the world to them.

I know you are loving every minute being with your family for Christmas... God Bless.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Hugs,
Betsy

Aw, thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us. You and your hubby always look so in love with one another! :)

My folks used to have that same picture of our Lord, I'm guessing outside the Garden of Gethsename? Now, I wonder whatever happened to it.

Sending you scads of wishes for a blessed Christmas!

Me, again.

Our company advises us to always say, "Happy Holidays" - but I'm a "Merry Christmas" sort of gal, myself. I'd love to see them dare to reprimand me! LOL.
