Pink Saturday

Good morning to Beverly and all the Pinkies! My son's friend posted this at Face Book! I try to avoid donuts as much as possible but this one was a little interesting. That donut looks scrumption but the donuts come in pink boxes, perfect for Pink Saturday! People tell  me they are stacked up in all their pink glory inside these stores! I also understand the employees are not interested in chit chat and if you point at something in the case, you are buying it! Wow! I am old fashioned so I would not be interested in this type of non customer service! I will stick with Dunkin Donut when I need a sugar fix!

I am just happy I came by to say hello for Pink Saturday and wish everyone well!

Prayers for Nick and his team mates. They will be running the Men's Distance Medley at eleven a.m. CST at Illinois College in the Snowbird Invitational at Jacksonville, IL. Nick will run the 1200 and start off the race. His Colorado buddy Louis will run the 1600 and finish the race. I apologize I do not know the two runners in between. Please pray for great races for all and no injuries as well as safe travels back some.

I was just thinking of 'customer service' -- or the lack of, the other day. No, I wouldn't care to patronize that sort of shop, either.

Prayers for Nick success, and especially their safety!

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Anne. I am so glad that your are here with us for Pink Saturday today.

I do like the motto that good thins come in pink boxes. That makes me smile.

Prayers said. I hope all went well.

I'd have to try those donuts at least once, rude people or not. They are becoming famous. ha!
(I'm blogging again. :-))

These look so good! There's a DD a block away from home and it's one of my biggest daily temptations. Love doughnuts! Prayers for Nick and team.

Oh my, that donut looks delicious! I try not to indulge too often, but every now and then it's good to enjoy a donut.

Sending good wishes for Nick and his teammates. Hope all goes well for them.

We are hunkering down for a doozy of a storm. I think we have enough of whatever we need, and I just hired us a snow plow. This will save few sore backs from shoveling.

I'm just hoping that we don't lose our electric power. We do have a generator just in case. We've never used it, but I think it might help us keep some heat and a the fridges and freezer going, plus a couple of lights. We'll see.

Pogo is oblivious to all of it so far. Of course once the snow plow is busy outside in the yard he'll be at the storm door watching all the action.

Thanks for caring. I'll keep you posted. As long as we have our power, I'll be blogging.

You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Blue, blue, everywhere.

I don't condone cheating. But I don't think the Dolts would have won the game no matter what the inlfation pressures used.

Still, a cheater is a cheater.
