Blue Monday/Love is.../Aw... Monday

This is Nick's blue accent wall. We are debating what he wants to put on this rather plain wall but it is a beautiful shade of royal blue called Deep River. He is a Kentucky Wildcat fan so he might find a framed poster to add to this wall.

I could not wait any longer to get a good shot of this new bed. His walls are white except for the Deep River accent wall. I wanted to get a shot with a beautifully made bed. Ha! Living  with a college student...
Sally is our Blue Monday hostess. It is fun to participate but these past few weeks and upcoming next six weeks will be wild for us. We have so much painting to accomplish and other household tasks. Plus we have a graduation Sunday in Pueblo. My niece Kate graduated from nursing school and she is a registered nurse! Woo Hoo! Her younger brother Troy, who plays saxaphone, graduated from high school so a party is in order. Most of our phamily will be there Sunday for the festivities. Please visit as many participates as you can. I try to catch everyone each week.
Had to share this up close and personal shot of Mr. Kitty A/K/A Mr. Cat! He was not too excited when the roofers came on Friday and marched across our roof to replace it all day long! This is his "why are you upsetting my daily rest" face! I thought you might like it with all the great folks at Sandee and Michael andAw....Monday. Please join some fun and visit all the participates.
I thought this was a cute Love is...for today because the French Open has been televised. I do not play tennis but our youngest daughter Hannah does and she is quite good. Nick is a huge fan of Serena Williams and we try to root for our home players.
Enjoy your week and thank you for always stopping by. I liked this expression for Blue Monday too.

Oh Anne,

You always make me smile. I think Nick's room looks super good! And the (guard) kitty is precious.

Thanks for playing today, and thank you for your kind comment.

Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!

I love the blue. It is my favorite color. As for the kitty, he's just showing cattitude. That is expected.

Blue is one of my favorite colors too. Very nice. It's tough to get a college student to make a bed. Very tough. I remember.

A big Awww on Mr. Kitty/Cat. He's not liking all that noise.

Have a purrfect day. ☺

Love the blue wall. Once when our daughter was a teenager, her room was painted a bright darker blue, with white trim. It was gorgeous! I love color in a house.

That is a gorgeous shade of blue! I don't think making the bed is high on the priority list when you are a college student - at least the covers were pulled up! Roofers make so much noise - cats seem to take it all in stride, but dogs go crazy! Had to take mine to the park for the day! So nice that you stopped by for a visit. Thank you for your sweet thoughts. Hugs xo Karen

That's an amazing, up-close pix of Mr. Kitty, Anne. His fur looks so thick and inviting ... almost 3D!

Congrats on Kate and Troy's accomplishments! Yours is going to be such a fun weekend, isn't it?

Mr. Kitty is quite handsome. It's good that the roofers are done so that he can rest quietly now. My Pogo gets all upset when there is a lot of noise too. I forgot to mention on my last comment how much I loved your father's comment about not raising grass, but raising boys. Such a beautiful way of looking at life.

Nick's room looks pretty good to me. When my kids were young, their rooms had an accent wall too. It must be something that kids just like. At least Nick chose a really pretty blue for his accent color.

The rain has stopped here, and there are graduations parties galore. My youngest grandson graduates from high school this coming weekend.
He graduates on the June 6. Just 58 years earlier, I graduated high school on that very same day. Hmmm, it kind of makes me feel a bit old.

Ah well, you have a beautiful day my friend. Hugs, Edna B.

Cute photo of Mr. Kitty!

Hope the roof was done quickly (and they cleaned up after themselves!)
