Aw...Monday Blue Monday Love is... "S" is for....SONday skies

This google image from APlacetoLoveDogs.com reminds me of the hot days we have had. Keep your pets safe and cool by keeping them indoors. I am appalled at people leaving dogs in cars to run a quick errand. Their body temperature is about 20 degrees higher than the temp outdoors. It is 92 here right now at 4:32 P.M. and I would not let any of our pets stay in a hot car for one minute. These two look like they have had enough of the indoor heat!
This sweet google image made me smile. It is true, no bad days when you have these kinds of furry friends waiting for you. Tell Sandee at Aw...Monday that you stopped by to say hello.
We had a great Father's Day dinner last week at the Olive Garden. It is always a great time.  My hubby wore his Kentucky blue Wildcat hat and his blue and orange Bronco tie dyed shirt. It was a good evening.

The cliffs of Mohre. Rebekah took her trip to Ireland in April and had a wonderful time.
Rebekah loves searching for waterfalls. This one was from their camping trip 2015.
Colorado camping 2015. I am not an outdoor camper kinda girl. I like to be in hotels. But Rebekah took this photo last August when they went camping.
A SONday afternoon shot of our Colorado skies. Nick had a soccer game and we were driving back from the sports facility. The SONday skies were bright and filled with bright clouds and blue in the 90 degree temps when the weather girl said mid-80's. Making a six figure income to tell the viewers tall tails. S made perfect sense for bright skies and SONday drives. Stop by Jeanne's and share some blues today.

Animals should never be left in the car and neither should children. Every year in spite of all the warnings both children and pets die. We've already had one child die this summer. It was a sad situation. The mother had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was recovering from chemo. Somehow her very active three year old slipped out of the house and went to the car to look for a toy. He got in, but couldn't get out. So sad. It doesn't take long for them to die in a hot car.

What bugs me is when people leave their poor dogs outside all the time in this heat. Why even have a dog? Most of the time it's in the 90's and with the heat index it feels like the hundreds.

I like your blues, Anne. The dogs would say a lot if they but would be able to tell us (I miss my Adi). We have seen the Cliffs of Mohre and enjoyed it, so very pretty and majestic. I know Rebekah enjoyed it too. You had a nice Sunday outing, we like the Olive Garden but don't eat there very much.
Thanks for peeking in on my final Friday Hunt for this series. Right now I don't have the foggiest idea of what for the "A" this Friday but I'm sure I can find one.

Oh yes, we have a city ordinance in Houston against leaving dogs or kids in cars. The kids became a state law also.
