Aw...Mondays and More

I found this on the hubby's phone. He took this at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs We were there December 18, 2019 which would have been the first birthday of Alastor Avery. That giraffe was being compliant because he wanted that lettuce my honey held in his hand. They still allow you to feed these gentle giant creatures. But you must purchased the leafy greens from them and the proceeds go back into the zoo.  Stop by  Aw...Mondays and join in too.

Love is....lemon in her tea.

Always vote as long as you have freedom and the choice to choose. Thinking of Annie while she is on hiatus.

A double dose of Maxine this week. Hope you have voted or plan to . Thank you for being here and have a wonderful week.

I do hope all the voting is done peacefully. Yes, giraffes are gentle giants! Even though one kick could kill you.

Yep, we voted mid-morning ... pleasantly surprised how quickly it went. That, and so many folks - young and old alike - wearing Trump caps and t-shirts.
LOVE the giraffe. What a thrill to feed one; I love to do that sometime. That's sure a neat initiative!

The giraffe looks happy to have his/her photo taken. We voted by mail, but hubby dropped them off at the town hall to be sure they got there. XO
