I did pick this out of my yard. I have a lilac bush on the back yard near our bedroom window. I have always heard that you should plant a lilac bush under a bedroom window. But I do not know why. If someone knows I would love to know. I think the smell is marvelous and maybe that is the reason. This was sitting on our piano in the living room.
Oh beautiful...everything is more beautiful with lilacs :) :) You know I"m such a huge fan of the Anne of Green Gables movies and the series Road to Avonlea..and lilacs came up a lot!!! Such a lovely flower ;) :) Thanks for posting this picture :) Greetings and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
