The Night They Saved Christmas

Beverly asked us to tell everyone our favorite movie(s) for Christmas. I have so many it is hard to choose one but this oldie is a true favorite. Jaclyn Smith, Art Carney, Paul Le Mat and Paul Williams were the stars of this sweet movie about a family  who's dad works for a large oil company who are exploring two sites in the Arctic region for drilling,. The first site is shaken by an explosion at the North Pole and Santa realizes the second site blast will destroy his home so he has to seek the aid of a woman and her two children to convince her husband to have his company stop the blasting. It is a sweet movie and will celebrate its 26th year of release on December 13th.
I hope you will thank Beverly for her continuing support of all of us here at Pink Saturday and for being a terrific hostess each week. She makes it fun to find new ways to display our pinks and always adds some fun to our weekly visits.
Visit Jacqueline at http://purplechocolathome.blogspot.com/ and see her blog and all its lovliness. I have been behind visiting and plan to catch up. Enjoy! Please enjoy a touch of pink to complete my Pink Saturday post! These orns would look lovely on anyone's tree!

  7. I love Christmas movies, I would have a rough time picking just one that I like best though. I have seen that one but I don't remember it as it was so long ago. Have you finished decorating your new house yet? I am done with the little bit I am going to do. I just did a wee bit this year.

  13. I too love all Christmas movies!!! No matter how many times I've viewed them over the years.

You're from Northglenn? I grew up in Colorado and raised my kids there...lived just North and west of Denver for nearly 50 years!!!

    Nice to meet another Coloradoan.

Thanks for visiting yesterday. I do hope your weekend is going well.

  14. Stopping by to say HI!!!!

...I have a hard time taking Jaclyn Smith serious as an actress... Charlie's Angels destroyed her career (IMHO).
