I wanted to have a light hearted post today. I just love the Family Circus and when looking for images to share it is very sad how much garbage is out there and how someone can take such a precious comic like this and turn it into some horrible self gratifying disgusting pleasure! Ugh! I hope you will enjoy these two I chose and the fact that the sweet little ones were praying is just a delight to me.
If you enjoy this post I hope you will come over and join us at Spiritual Sunday. Charlotte and Ginger do an amazing job each week coordinating all this for everyone to enjoy.
I hope 2011 makes you smile as much as Dolly and Jeffy make me smile.

Good Evening Anne Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful and precious share of Jeffy and Dolly. I love Family Circus, and yes there are quite a few of the nasties out there now a days. We just have to overlook them and not make a big deal about it. They dwell on that.
A precious Sunday share. I love it. Many hugs and much love sweetie, Sherry
Very cute. I have always enjoyed Family Circus too.
ReplyDeleteI love the family circus! We used to read them all the time in the newspaper when I was a kid. These two are just adorable!
ReplyDeleteOH, that's a great cartoon :) :) I think this one is a good cartoon overall :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteHey Anne - Hard to come by these days, but girl, we're in the media business to, the Lord's Media Business and as long as we keep sending these cartoons out and spreding His Word, His Light will shine more than you know, so keep it up and thank you. Love Terri - www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com

ReplyDeleteHappy Spiritual Sunday :)
Cute post. I love how children are so innocent in their faith.
ReplyDeletecute...I like these too.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne.. How sweet are these.. And loved seeing them on this fine Sunday morning! I don't get the paper anymore, so I never get to see the comics really. Funny I find myself saying I kinda miss them! Peanuts have and always will be my favorite though, so I'm glad I still have some of the older books that were made!.. Happy New Year, and hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend! ~tina
ReplyDeleteYou started my day with a huge smile. I have always loved that cartoon and these frames are a perfect example why. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
