Today we share the letter "C" at Alphabe Thursday! I thought I would get an early start to the weekend where I participate in Pink Saturday and Stephanie's Wedding Blog Party! So today I want to share the letter "C" with cake! I have provided some wonderful google images with cakes galore! Who doesn't love a beautifully decorated cake for any special occasion? The summer is a busy birthday season for me! We start with our grandson Colton who turns 16 on June 7th. I think he will enjoy this cake, from Dairy Queen:
Rebekah our middle daughter follows him with a June 13th day! She does not want to reveal her new age! Ha! But she loves old fashioned wedding cake so we will wish her a beautiful birthday with this cake:
Hannah, our youngest daughter was nearly a "firecracker" baby! She celebrates her 21st birthday on July 3rd. Sigh She does not want a red, white and blue cake but rather this one:
My "Sweets" celebrates a birthday on July 23rd. He shared that date with my late dad and we will be thinking of dad on my honey's special day! He can have this cool cake:
They both love(ed) baseball so here are some cool cupcakes. Very nice!
Jeremy will celebrate August 9th and he may be traveling to Vegas with some buddies! We will save this cake for him:
A full house cake is the perfect one for J!
I think Nick, who has to be at college on his August 20th birthday, would love this runners cake! It is so cool, a running shoe!
Jayden will turn one on September 12th. The phamily will sing "If You're Happy And You Know It..." and share a jungle theme birthday cake with him!
I am next on December 3rd. If anyone knows me very well, they know that I am not a fan of holiday cakes covered with poinsettias, snowmen or Santa's! Give me a beautiful Springtime cake like this one:
Noelle and Roger share December 13th as their birthday! Hmmm...a cake for Noelle is:
Noelle likes chatting on the phone! This cake would make her smile!
Roger is a motorcycle man! There is nothing like a cool hog cake to celebrate with!
Now I am hungry for cake after sharing all these different kinds with you. Do you like chocolate, white or carrot? A marble cake, a pound cake, a Boston creme cake? Share your favorite here with me. Then carry yourself to Ms. Jenny's and share your favorite "C" surprise with all of us!
Would you make your own cake? Do you like to bake? Is a bakery your style? Tell me, I want to know!
You're making me hungry too!! I probably would make my own cake!
ReplyDeleteReally nice, love Dairy Queen Cakes.

ReplyDeleteWow- Those are some AMAZING cakes. Hope you are having a good week-xo Diana
ReplyDeleteyummy...love those cakes!
ReplyDelete-r1-
Wow, you'll have a lot of cakes to make! I like the old fashioned cake with whole wheat flour and nothing on top of it.
ReplyDeleteWhile I am able to cook very well, baking eludes me. I think it has something to do with the exact measurments of baking as opposed to the toss in the 'abouts' 'pinches' 'scant' of cooking. Fortunately, my son's darling sweetheart is an ace baker. She bakes on the scale of restaurant quality creations. And, we get to taste everything!!
ReplyDeleteYum! Cake will top all the C words, each and every time. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful cakes! I love cheesecake!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, now I want CAKE:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWonderful ...! I like these cakes are pure art.
ReplyDeleteI do like to bake but I also like to find a great cake to buy at a bakery. Fun choice for the letter C.

ReplyDeleteThe cakes are really amazing-looking!
ReplyDeleteI want them all!
Beautiful cakes, and very lovely to see not to mention that I now want a piece :-)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love looking at creative cakes. One of my friends is a baker, and I love to look at her photo album. Of these, I like the cell phone the best of all. That jungle one is mighty awesome too, though.
ReplyDeleteHow fun. So many great cake ideas. My daughter and grandson have bdays this coming week...but neither are cake eaters...heaps of fresh fruit with some good ice cream will make them happy!
