Blue Monday? Love is....

I like this blue quote. It is a perfect fit for Sally and the Blue Crew!
This one is funny and would be good for the worker who prefers absolutely solitude! Plus it is blue too!
When we got married in 1984 bank and savings and loan companies often gave you gifts for opening a new account. My mom got a brand new iron and gave it to me for a wedding gift! I drafted a clause into my wedding vows, no ironing for me ever! LOL!
Please visit Marydon and show us your favorite Love is...

  1. Do you remember blue chip stamps? I remember how my mom would allow us to stick the stamps in each book. I believe she got a few appliances this way. Thanks for the memory.

  3. LOL Oh, Anne, you are so funny! Now I have to ask: did you keep that vow, or did you iron?

I'll tell you one thing: I NEVER have seen my husband iron!

Thanks for joining in to Blue Monday.

  5. So love the share of your Father, Anne ... beautiful! Love his charming smile.

Iron? What the heck is that? Oh, it is a memory ... I love forgetting, chuckle!!! My hubby actually ironed because, true story ...

One day he came home from the base & being the dutiful USNavy bride, I ironed all his gorgeous 'blues'. He took one look at them nearly screamed 'what have you done?' I totally ironed them wrong putting seams down the front etc ... off to the dry cleaners to correct all I did, but he did have to iron one of the uniforms to go to work the next day.

    Big hugs,
    TTFN ~

  8. I especially like the first quote. I still have a desk lamp my parents got for opening an account in the 1970's.

  9. I love your quote. I love your big heart. I peeked at your F post but I'll leave my comment there in order...or I totally confuse myself.

Which, seriously, doesn't take much - ha!
