Here is the setting sun at Vail, Colorado. Our son Jeremy has a friend who owns a property here and we are on their list for a weekend getaway. We had hoped to take Nick on a mini vacation before he returns to Kansas for college. So say a prayer and hope we can go! The cost is so absolutely reasonable it is amazing! I have seen properties going for thousands of dollars for a week getaway! This is a beautiful three bedroom house with all the amenities! We are hoping it is available during the Thanksgiving weekend. There is nothing like relaxing from a long hard work week and enjoying some of the most beautiful views in our state!
Here is a more upscale place! This one was one the market! It is located in Edwards, Colorado 17 minutes from Vail! Love the sky!
Rifle Falls State Park. I love my home state and I love living here, I always will. I hope you enjoyed my little tour and will visit Beverly and join all the Pinkies who share their pink goodness! Have a beautiful weekend!

Oh My...that Colorado Sunset does rival Texas Sunsets. Beautiful! How much fun it sounds for a weekend getaway to anyone of those lovely spots. I'm ready for one right now...I don't think I can wait til Thanksgiving! We are hoping for a week long camping trip at the Guadalupe River near San Antonio. Lots to see and do there, plus I have kinfolks there, too. Happy Pink Saturday!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome sunset, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVail? What an amazing opportunity! I'd be tempted to donate a body part (lol) to spend Thanksgiving there!
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with Colorado when I was 12 (spent a summer at girls camp in Bailey).
Not sure how Tom would do with the altitude - plus, he hates cold weather - but hopefully we can get up there some day.
ReplyDeleteWe spent some time in Vail a few years ago during a visit with our Son, it's a glorious place. How wonderful if you get to stay there!!!
You have one of the best home states outside of Texas. However, we do not have the scenery here that you do there. Go and enjoy your stay at this lovely place.
ReplyDeletegorgeous skies! and praying with you for that provision =)
ReplyDeleteblessings to you , Anne!
Happy Pink Saturday on Sunday :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Colorado - I have so many happy memories in that state and hope to end up there eventually. I would thrilled to be on someone's house list! And at Vail! Your photos have the most interesting color washes, are you using an app or filter? They almost look like paintings. Really neat.
I've always heard how lovely this place is but I've never been out west. This is incredible! Hope it works out for you.
ReplyDeleteHope it all works out for you, it is a lovely place. We have family there. Home bodies we are during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
