Nick ran in the Cottonwood Classic 5k yesterday! He took first in his age group and third overall. Great day of running with former team mates and coaches! He wore his high school blues with the other team members and look at those blue apartments in the back as he is rounding the road to the finish line. He has such a great kick at the end of his races!

Oh, it looks so warm and sunny! I wonder if he would have liked to run in our pouring rain?

What a wonderful photo of Nick running. It's wonderful to watch our children accomplish good things. It looks so warm and sunny there. Today we have some much needed rain. Our lawns and gardens are happy today. Tomorrow we'll have the sun again.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that the one good thing about being sick for a long time is that one has lots of time to concentrate on crafts. My crochet projects have been coming along nicely. So I guess that's what's called a "silver lining".
Well, I'm off for a bit of a nap. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Yes, nice photo, congratulations to Nick !!
ReplyDeleteCongratulation to Nick.
