A perfectly pink Pink Saturday! This is our middle daughter Rebekah Michelle. She has a birthday today and although her cake was decorated in purple and blue her pink outfit from long, long ago was pretty in pink! She is swinging our car keys. Back in her day, they did not have lots of distractions for the little ones so Olan Mills snapped this photo while Rebekah was jiggling those car keys. Funny thing, she still loves car keys and has driven across our country to Virginia and all across Nebraska to visit friends. She is planning a trip to Ireland next year, God willing. She loves the Irish heritage of her daddy. She has a bigger bucket list than most of us do. She wants to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef and sky dive along with visiting lots of mountainous places. She is a camping freak! I tell her "Your father and I camp out, in five star hotels with room service." HaHaHa!
Albertson's makes a beautiful birthday cake every year for this girl. She loves the Walking Dead but I opted for these pretty Summer flowers.
She is mad about this fellow! Which is why she probably studied English Literature in college and loves the Old English writings.
Ah....the siblings 1, 2,3,4,5 from long ago! Rebekah is on the left in her burgundy velveteen Christmas dress.
Short people, Jen, Rebekah, John....oh ah...except Tony...all six foot seven of him!
The birth order. People in the middle generally are quite cheerful. They were the reason why the rules were set in place! I am guessing Sally and the Blue Crew have spotted several blues in my post today!
Rebekah is a licensed insurance agent. She recently took a job in Customer service and will be leaving Gold at the end of this month for Claims. Often, talking with customers on the phone requires much patience. If you visit Sandee and Michael you might say "Aw....Monday".
The campers, Rebekah with her honey Zach.
Please visit Beverly and some Pinkies today.
Nick recently took up golf. He wants to go play here:
Jeremy has a friend who's phamily owns a townhome on the greens! This is the view from their front door! The kids spent the weekend in Vail celebrating Rebekah's birthday.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I hope she has lots and lots of time to cover that bucket list!! I wouldn't mind scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef myself (even if there are some pretty big sharks there!)
ReplyDeleteRebecca is my first name but I've always been called Ann or Annie by family. I really do like the name even though I spell it different!!! Looks like a great cake and party.Walking Dead not so much.

ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Rebekah. She sounds like such an adventurous young woman. I loved your photos. And yes, I remember Olan Mills. that's where we had a lot of our photos done.
ReplyDeleteToday I had our yard treated to cut down on the mosquito, tick and flea population. I'm hoping it helps. I love being out in the yard, but the mosquitos find me quite tasty. Not fun!!
Now it's time to peek in the fridge to see if there is anything tasty for lunch for Pogo and I. He's been prancing back and forth between me and the fridge for a couple of minutes now. I think that's his way of giving me a hint. haha.
You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
I've responded to several emails about how to make the blog books, but I don't know if my emails reached you. I used "Blog2Print". I can help you over the phone. If you would like to call me, let me know in an email and I'll give you my phone number. Have fun with this project, hugs, Edna B.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to be in you circle. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
