This face had to be shared with you from pinterest. If you prefer felines how about this one?
Aw....this face is me on a Monday morning! Even though these days I get up and do my housework I feel like this too. Stop by Sandee's and say Aw.... too!
January 5, 2016, a blue sky I shot just for you! Make sure Jeanne and the Blue Crew see you here and there and everywhere that is sharing some blues.
February 15, 2015 more blue skies. I don't think I have ever seen the sky look the same on any given day.
In my gray walled living room I have a beautiful black and white canvas depicting happier days before the Twin Towers fell.
I love this canvas. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." Psalm 46:1-2
A BoJon favorite, Auntie Jo Steblay and Uncle Tom Binder on their wedding day. Uncle Tom was in the Army Air Corp. and served in WWII. They loved their Dallas Cowboys and resided in Texas for many years. Later Uncle Tom, an engineer, took a job with Mobile Oil and was transferred to Baton Rouge, Louisana where they had the most lovely home. She passed away, from pancreatic cancer, just like her mom, in 1977. She was young, way too young to be taken away. Uncle Tom lived the rest of his life in their Baton Rouge home and he passed away tragically from a brain tumor after being involved in a car accident that revealed that tumor. A beautiful couple with smiles that lit up a room. Broke my mother's heart to lose her baby sister. I will always hold my heritage close to my heart and remember these good and godly people until the end of my own life.
Love is...if only the entire world would learn to love their neighbor as they love themselves. What a wonderful world it would be.
Oh Maxine, you silly girl, you have a valid point here! Hee Hee Hee Hee! Sporting events, the movies, anywhere you go you have to be prepared to pay for those treats like they are high end gems!
Until next time....
I've already linked you to Awww Mondays. Thanks for being such a loyal participant.
ReplyDeleteI love your twin towers photograph. I so remember that day. I was in shock as much of us were. The queen rocks.
Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hugs. ♥♥♥
Hi Anne, you have blogged up a storm since I was here last. Thank you for Psalm 46. I read it and like what all it says, the power of God is more than we can understand. I like Verse 9, He can stop the wars and destroy the tools of war. Verse 10 goes on to say that God doesn't like war (neither do i, not even war movies). Your cat finds are the greatest! Mrs. Jim's sister used to forward Maxine but that has stopped, thank you.
ReplyDelete..
Nice post and mixture love the Monday face lol
ReplyDeleteNice tribute to those that were lost awful time we were in shock to here in the UK, nice to include the Queen too Liz & I am on first name terms :-)
Have a regaltastic day :-)
I always enjoy your happy blog- have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I agree with Maxine. There's really no reason to charge the customer so much money for these very inexpensive treats.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple pictures that I will email to you. They were sent to me and I thought you would enjoy them. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Hello Anne, I was happy as always to see your link on my Blue Monday. Your post is fun and I especially loved the wedding photo of your Aunt and Uncle. Their story is lovely and sad. The blue sky photo did not show on my computer. The queen did show up. She is amazing. Sigh. I have to face getting a new computer and I am not excited about it. I have had so much trouble lately. Love the pup and kittens pics. I so agree that love of family is so important in our lives.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week my sweet friend.
Hugs,
Jeanne
Hi, Anne, thanks for your recent visit. Glad to see you're doing well. You did a wonderful memorial of 9/11. I appreciate that. Big hugs to you.
