This will be me that day after CHRISTmas. Aw...Mondays and Sandee and the folks who share their thoughts there, I want to wish you all a very Merry CHRISTmas. I have missed a few weeks and I missed everyone and am trying to catch up. The days go by so quickly and the years, Lord, they fly away too. Stop over to Sandee's and say Aw....Mondays. I guarantee you will feel better about an often ordinary day.
You need to stop over at Blue Monday and share your most blue memories too. I have missed everyone there too and want to wish you all a very blessed CHRISTmas Day. We will have a more quiet CHRISTmas Day and see most of the phamily on CHRISTmas Eve, We love buying gifts for the little ones. I had a late start this year but managed to find some great gifts and hoping the grands will think so too.
We celebrate for this reason. Lots of different celebrations around the world. Many interesting customs and many different types of year end traditions. This year I am a little sad. We didn't get into our garage to sort our many treasures, including my collection of Nativity sets. I did keep my Princess House lead crystal where I would be able to quickly get to it. It is a favorite of mine.
This is a favorite of mine. You can tuck clear light`s underneath each figure. It is lead crystal and the creche is a beautiful cherrywood.
Avon brought this 1988 porcelain nativity into their catalog. Two years ago my hubby knocked Joseph off the shelf they were on. I was not able to replace him alone but replaced the three pieces shown here. I wish I could have purchased the entire set but these pieces are beautifully crafted.
Annie hosts a positive meme sharing kindness and good things rather than meanness which we see so much of at social media. You can hardly blink an eye without offending someone. I love being here and I love all of you being here too. Instead of being kind during the holidays only, I try to do it year long. Recently I was buying a few gifts for the grands. My Family Dollar had a buy one get onehalf off sale on any toy over $5. I ended up buying more than I should have but wrapped those extras and sent them to the church where our kids were married a few weeks ago. Someone can use them and I like giving new toys to children. I also bought our daughter a coat and she didn't like the fit and the color so instead of going through the hassle of following their silly return policy I wrapped it up for the church too. WE give to food banks all year long and I like to share smiles not hand waving with middle fingers upright in traffic and in parking lots and such. There is always someone struggling with something we know nothing about.
I was late sending my post to Aw...Mondays and Blue Monday because photos would not load. So before I continue......Ann has won my second part of the giveaway. Have no fear, much, much more to come so don't stop sharing and commenting here. I am going to let Ann know she is the latest winner. Woo Hoo! Come back and as long as you follow me and answer the simple questions, favorite tea and.or coffee, favorite color, do you love chocolate, what kind? you are entered. My life has been crazy busy as I am sure yours has too. I will try to be here more often and praying the photos load and blogger and google play nice.
OK Ann you are the winner this time around! Congratulations!

cute puppy!! and i also agree that tossing and turning should be counted as a workout!!
ReplyDeleteps happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteYour nativity pieces are lovely, i agree with Maxine, the puppy is a darling, and i hope you have a wonderful week-before-Christmas!
ReplyDeleteGosh, that puppy is simply adorable! And, I love your crystal nativity set. How pretty. This will be a busy week, but I wish you a very happy Christmas. Hugs, Edna B.
ReplyDeleteThat saying about battles is so true. I need to have patience with other drivers. It's all to easy to react to a hunk of metal with a hostile attitude, in heart if not also action, and neither is healthy. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little puppy! What an uplifting post expressing love for CHRISTmas! Love your nativities. Have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!

ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law collects nativities too. She now has so many that we aren’t supposed to buy her ones. If we see a good one, we ignore her. ;-)
This fall my husband and I had so many life changes that the Christmas season has sneaked up on us. We bought gifts late and I’m just starting to get into the Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas to you too!
