Sweet Thor. I shared this photo before. He had a terrible day on Saturday. He ate a thorny weed outside that cut into the roof of his mouth. He had to visit the emergency vet, be sedated and removed the thorns. He is recuperating nicely and received pain medication as well as an anti- biotic. He is the sweetest boy so I will catch up with a current photo of him soon. Visit Aw....Mondays.
Ah....Love is....sweet every day and being Father's Day on SONday, we decided to let all the guys be comfy.
As hard as I try I am so imperfect. But I lean on the understanding of the Lord. I Know no matter what comes along He will hold me upright. I just have to trust Him and not this world.
Christal and Alex made Father's Day 2020 so special. The food was excellent. They worked so hard to pull this off. I am so grateful for them. Appreciative that they are part of us and no one will never take that away from me.
This is good stuff.
Brittany and the boys. The day went off perfectly, weather included.
Logan is growing up to be quite a sweet boy. He was such a tiny preemie last summer and look at him now. Sixteen pounds of pure love. He loves that Tarrah, sweetest little mom who stood by him from the very beginning. I look at him and think, how many babies like him were never given the chance to live life? Grateful he is here.
This grandson and that grandfather. They are such an incredible part of this story of your life. All the good memories and the sad ones and even the broken ones, make us stronger .
My previous post was the start of what I finished here. Thank you for visiting me.

wonderful family photos! Have a great week!
ReplyDeletePoor baby. I'm glad he's doing better now. It's horrible when they hurt themselves.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great fathers day. Good for you.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug honey. ♥
I hope Thor is feeling better soon. Logan sure is a sweetie. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to see Logan looking so healthy! That's sure scary about little Thor. Most of the time I think I'm pretty level-headed, but when it comes to my fur babies, no. I'd have been a wreck. Thank God for emergency vets!
ReplyDeleteI've no idea what that first food picture is, but I hope you'll tell us -- and perhaps share the recipe? I miss REAL Mexican food in the worst way.
Sounds like a wonderful day and a wonderful meal. Yikes Thor! I hope that ouchie feels all better super soon.
ReplyDeletePoor Thor, that sounds painful. I am glad you had a nice family gathering. You have a beautiful family. XO
ReplyDeleteYour post describes a happy Fathers Day celebration and that food looks delicious. I hope Thor recovers quickly, he is so cute.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, especially that quote by St. Mother Teresa.
ReplyDeleteHope your pup is feeling much better now.
