Here are some of the more wild felines you will find in the wild or even at zoos and an animal sanctuary. Stop by Feline Friday
I am unsure that Mister Kitty sees himself as a wild cat. He is more subdued, like a sleeping lion. His interests lately are food and sleep and water. It has been pushing nearly 100 degrees so like me, he is a lazy creature seeking coolness and rest.
This is my feline's arch nemesis. He does not like Franklin and Franklin, well let us just say, he makes sure, Mister Kitty stays put. Franklin is a gentle canine. He was terribly abused at some time in his life and he loves to be petted and snuggled and he is the king of the belly rub. Mister Kitty, he would rip my flesh off my hands if I dared to tough his belly. He is a hands off feline unless he feels like he needs attention. He has two hiding places, both with the comfort of a cool fan and plush bed. So I leave him to his own carefree ways. He is very loud and trust me, he gets food or drink N O W ! He is a bully and quite pushy. I realized he and Franklin assume they are the alpha male so the battle of control was on. The feline is hiding as he needs his rest after dealing with Franklin all week. So I May see him at 2 A.M. when he decides cold water from the faucet is what he needs.
The innocence of a kitten. Ha! Never be fooled. This boss likes to keep us on our toes. He was so tiny here but boy oh boy did he have a great set of lungs! "Cats choose us; we don't own them." Kristen Cast, editor (Readers Digest Cat Quotes).
Come visit Pink Saturday and share your pinkness.
PLease stop by and thank Ellen and Lorianne for these great questions they make up each week. Thanks ladies! You are terrific!
Answers to my Friday Fill In questions:
1. One word to describe my week PHAMILYPHUN!
2. My biggest success has been my marriage, my phamily and most importantly my faith.
3. Not to brag, but I think my life is pretty darn good.
4. For me, faith, love and kindness is the meaning of life.
We enjoyed a quiet moment at the picnic area at Duck Creek in the Guanella Park area on Tuesday. The day was picture perfect and we enjoyed the quiet while thinking of our sweet Alastor Avery on the first anniversary of his passing. Thank you all for the kind comments, we appreciate them so very much and all of you for being here for all of us.
Noelle's friend crocheted these dresses for Shea Avery Marie. They are so lovely. I admire the artists who create such loveliest. We had lunch with Colton, Harrison and Shea today at the Olive Garden. It was rather quiet early in the lunch hours and we enjoyed a nice conversation and enjoy those little ones so much. Jacey had to work so dad and kids joined us for some yummy soup and salad while Harrison enjoyed mac n cheese. We didn't even snap any photos but we sure enjoyed passing that girl Shea around so we could all have a bowl of soup and we all took turns as she demanded our full attention. She is such a little Diva.
When the kids arrived late last Friday we gave them their belated other wedding gift. They were tickled to get the Ninja combo. Now they can make a smoothie or blend a recipe or even chop and dice onions and potatoes for a meal. This is a really convenient appliance. We highly recommend it along with our Kitchen Aid mixer. Our son-in-law Roger has whipped out a huge batch of thinly sliced potatoes for a holiday meal of scalloped potatoes. The Kitchen Aid is my new BFF. I nearly created a batch of butter while whipping heavy cream for our crepes on Wednesday! THose are two appliances I think everyone needs.
My kinda news.

I fought with this new blogger, reverted to the original one and feel much better. They should work out the kinks before they roll out a new interface plan.

Such fun photos and we enjoyed seeing all of them. Your fill-in answers were purrfect too!
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I'm not surprised by any answer.
ReplyDeleteFunny how cats and dogs tolerate each other. They have their rules and that's it.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous weekend, honey. Big hug. ♥
Aw, I love your mixture of sweet and funny ... and inspirational, too. I've thought about making a Kitchen Aid investment, but don't think we'd use it enough. That Ninja on the other hand? Ooooh, I love gadgets! Love those wee dresses ... anything homemade/handmade is definitely more special.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that the new Blogger gets easier for you. and all of us! You have a wonderful weekend, hugs, Edna B.
ReplyDeleteLovely post as ever!Hugs and happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pleasure to visit you and your friends!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your posts. My cat woke me up at 6:40 this morning, just because he wanted me UP. He wasn't hungry or thirsty. He was just sick and tired of everyone sleeping.

Sorry your kitty doesn't like belly rubs. Most of mine will at least tolerate it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. A good marriage, kids and faith are all things to be proud of. Glad you got to spend some time with family and got to go to The Olive Garden. I love their chicken gnocci soup. Have a nice weekend. XO
I am doing the old Blogger too. But t will only be available till the last week of the month. I am not looking forward to using the new one. Looks like you have been having fun. I love your quotes and jokes. Your pets are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSmiling after reading this post, SO much CUTE! LOVE the seven dwarfs quote:)
ReplyDeleteI reverted back to the old blogger and will give the new one another try before I HAVE to! The new one isn't user friendly to me but hopefully like you said, they will work the kinks out. Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
Some cats and dogs are friends, some want to make friends but can't find a willing member of the other species, and some just plain don't get along and never will. They are funny that way.
ReplyDeleteThe new Blogger won't let me post pictures on my tablet, so when i get to where the new interface is mandatory, i will have to figure out a new way to get pictures in.
