Wordless Wednesday

Today on August 4, 2019 we lost the most precious baby boy . Alastor Avery came to us during the holidays of 2018. He went home to Jesus on August 4, 2019. He will always be 7 months old in this life but in his new life with Jesus he is enjoying the freedom of no suffering, no hatred, no pain. He is once again perfect and enjoying his home for eternity.

My favorite photo of myself with Alastor Avery. We took this photo on Augugst 2, 2019 two days before he left this earth. I am so happy to have such a sweet memory.

I may not be wordless today but I certainly have a heart filled with so much goodness and memories. I am forever grateful for that last evening we spent with Harrison's baby brother. In my mind he will always look like this but in heaven I suppose he may have an entirely different look about him. I want to live my life so that I may enjoy a reunion with him one fine day.

"Blessed are they who mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

  4. What a beautiful picture... and oh how sad to have lost a little one so young. I don't know why some bodies choose to leave the earth after such a short time here but I trust their judgment. You will see Alastor again... if you haven't already... in the sun, in the wind, or in the smile of another child. ~Andrea xoxoxo
