WHO YOU SHARE IT WITH BY LAYUP and BRODY & BLAKE

I love music and I found a perfect song regarding the accident that could have taken the lives of our son and his two precious sons. Instead, they are all healing, each day, new milestones for the boys and some joy for their dad and mom and big sister. This simple song says everything I needed to hear to remind me of the importance of putting those we love first in this earthly life. I am sharing the lyrics here. I hope you will take a few minutes to listen to it. Thank you.

Lyrics
Times and places
Are all in who you share 'em with
And it's life, and the point is
Enjoyin' who you share it with
Joy is who you share it with

And the weeks and the weekends
Are keepin' close who you spend it with
And in time, what you find is
The time is who you spend it with
Joy is who you share it with
Ooh, ooh
Who you share it with
Oh, oohWho you share it with
Yeah, now is a moment
And a home is who you share it with
I believe what the point is
Is enjoyin' who you share it with
Joy is who you share it with

Ooh, ooh
Who you share it with
Oh, ooh
Who you share it with

The boys are healing. We are getting ready for the holidays
. A quiet Thanksgiving and than a big CHRISTmas for the little
ones to include Hannah and Jake and the boy who his
cousins are anxious to see again. We will be able to
celebrate his first birthday while they are here. I ask for many
prayers for good weather to travel in. They are in Western
NY and they are expecting a mild winter. We on the other
hand may be in for more wild weather this Winter. We will
pray and wait and see.

These two young fellas have been through so much in their
young lives. I am so happy to call them my heroes. They
have so much more wisdom than so many of us. They are
strong, smart, brave and resilient. I want them to have the
best life.  They deserve so much. They thank everyone who
prayed, sent cards and gifts and well wishes. All the meals
prepared for their phamily. The encouragement . They had
teams of the best of the best doctors and nurses caring for
them. The Children's Hospital was first rate. All the extras the
boys were treated to as they healed. Their security is top of
the line and everyone from volunteers to attending doctors
took time to help us in whatever it was we needed. Brittany
and Jeremy have collected toys and books and such to
donate the hospital so that other children treated there will
feel loved and cared for. The school the boys attend have
allowed them to set up a bin to collect  items for the hospital.
We have set up our own personal box to fill with gifts for all
the children treated there. When the boys were able to move
to the regular ward they were able to play bingo and do
crafts and other fun activities. The joy on the face of a child
receiving a prize for winning bingo or completing another
fun activity is a priceless joy.

Continue to think about the kids and all the children in
hospitals everywhere who need prayer and kindness to
help them heal.

feels love and believes in the goodness in people."  Roy T.

  3. What splendid lyrics! I'd not heard of this before, so thank you for blessing us with it.
You know, until I few weeks ago I didn't know anything was amiss -- trying to read between the lines what happened to the boys. (Then I Googled and found a news article on line detailing their injuries.) I'm so stunned -- but in awe of God's goodness. Continuing prayers!

  4. Lots of prayers for all of you. Children's hospitals are places of great joy and sadness and they work so very, very hard.
