If I had more time I would have posted pictures of my late mother-in-law who adored red and wore it as often as she could. She was also a "Pink Lady" because pink was also a favorite color. At her memorial service yesterday the video our niece Leah composed was full of wonderful photos of my sweet MIL in her heyday. She had an incredible sense of humor, a kind and generous heart and was a photogenic dream girl!

I love Betty Boop and although she was way before my time I have lots of colorful Betty Boop items. My sis has an entire kitchen decorating in Red,Black and White Betty Boop fashion. If I were with her 120 miles away from my house I would take shots of her kitchen for this post! But she is on v-cay with her daughter and phamily .

My Betty Boop s/p shakers were purchased last weekend by me for $5. My sis told me I really did not want to know what she paid for her set a few years ago! A lot more than five bucks she said!

Please come join our teacher Mrs. Matlock for Rainbow Red Thursday, part of Alphabe Thursday! She is here. Come join the fun.

  10. Good Morning Anne Sweetie...
I was certainly saying some prayers for your family yesterday. I knew that the service would be hard. I will continue to keep DH and you in my prayers. It is never easy to say good-bye for now.

I love your share today sweetie. So beautiful. I too love Betty Boop and those M & M guys, ooh you are making me hungry for candy at 6:30 in the morning. Shame on me for the thoughts.

I pray you have a beautiful day sweet friend. Still haven't found my surprise at CSN but I am looking. I am thinking something pink. (Have you spent yours yet?)

Country hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry
