PINK SATURDAY

Please visit Beverly today and the rest of the pinkies at Pink Saturday. I am sending some images your way that symbolize the Breast Cancer awareness Campaign. I chose the New York Jets NFL Cap with the pretty pink trim because my local grocery store has a cardboard cutout of quarterback Mark Sanchez with a breast cancer survivor to promote awareness. Plus he is a handsome guy and great qb.The pretty t shirts in a variety of colors represent the Ford Motor Co. breast Cancer campaign. Proceeds go to the BCA campaign. CUte trainer shoes can help you get fit and stay fit.The pink ribbon pin is the first piece of BCA jewelry I bought. The pink ribbon is also gracing the NFL symbol during October and you can see your favorite NFL team wearing special gloves, shoes, headbands and jerseys with the BCA symbol. I had to add this beautiful Martina McBride video. Please enjoy.I will have my mammogram soon. It is something I am vigilant about . My paternal grandmother and two of my dad's five sisters were breast cancer survivors during a time when there was not much information available. I lost my favorite aunt Ang who was married to my mom's brother to this horrible disease and currently I have these friends recovering from the disease: Sandy, sisters Ilee and Sherrie, and Teresa. spread some pinkness and let's all join together so we can find a cure.

  1. Thanks so much for your lovely post reminding us all of THE FIGHT.
I have a prayer list going on my side bar and will add your names to it, if that is ok. I love names when we pray and we know prayers is the most healing of all.

  7. We are fighting Anne for a cure for breast cancer. It is in my family too. I too love that the football players are taking Beast cancer awareness to the fields. Being a manly man is not as important as fighting for a cure.

    Happy Pink Saturday.
    Blessings, Jeanne
