Love is.../Blue Monday/Alphabe Thursday Too!

Nothing more needs to be said!
Oh so now you know the baby's sex! LOL! At the gender reveal party yesterday for my grandson Andrew and his beautiful Tarrah,  they revealed their new baby, due in June will be a boy! Jayden was pulling for a sister. He says she needed to be Wonder Woman! Alas, he loves Captain America and maybe his new brother, if he is blonde and blue eyed like Jayden, can be Thor! That is Drazah, their niece who lives with them also.

The party was wonderful, hosted by Tarrah's dad Scott. He did a nice job setting everything up and sharing some amazing dishes with everyone. Lots of pink and blue plates, cups, punch and silverware. My photos were not loading so I had to borrow a few from my daughter Noelle.
There were three boxes wrapped with balloons. Here come the blue ones!

More food! There was pink punch and blue punch and rock candy in blue and pink! Everyone wore a tiny clothespin in pink or blue, choosing the color they thought the baby would be! Thah's Tarrah's mom in the background.

The two little ones did a nice job decorating Tarrah's plain white t shirt.

The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed the day. I hope Sally and the Blue Crew enjoy these blues today!
My silly Noelle brought a gift! The happy momma and daddy!

I figured Ms. Jenny would appreciate me showing up to class to celebrate the letter "L". I choose love because February is the month of Love!

  4. What better blues than baby boy blues! Love the hand print shirt -- what a cute idea! How adorable that Jayden wanted a sister so she could be Wonder Woman! Priceless!

  5. Hi Anne, How fun to know your great grandson will be a boy. The party looks so happy, as do the expectant parents. We never had this kind of knowledge when our children were in the 9 months stage of pregnancy. It was a guessing game. LOL

Best wishes for your wonderful family with the coming of a new baby.

    Love, Jeanne

  6. Anne, the photos of the party are just wonderful. What a beautiful family you have. I think the idea of the party is just awesome. Many blessings and good health for the new baby.

We are well on our way to the second foot of snow from this storm. Gosh almighty, I'm so sick of all the snow!!!

I don't think I've ever seen a winter with this much snow. And it seems to just keep coming and coming. We're expecting more this Thursday. Yeesh!!!

However, this is obviously a whole lot better than lots of freezing rain. Part of my town is without power today. I understand the power company is working to correct the problem.

Well, I'm going to eat my Hot Pocket and watch a speck of TV. You have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.

  11. What a novel way in which to learn the gender! Aren't baby showers the best?
And that's pretty neat how Tarrah's dad took care of everything. He sure sounds like a thoughtful and loving dad!

  18. Wow, another Boy!! I've never been to a Baby shower, I was working when Mrs. Jim had hers and for the other four, there wasn't anybody to give a shower out where we were stationed.

The Husband generally comes to help carry the presents to the car. I missed that too. ;(

Love is a nice February "L" word, you did good here, Ann.
