LOVE IS.....

Today I am going to share two Love is... with you! I was having a hard time deciding so decided to share both of them!
This one touched my heart! Do you know my friend Theresa? Her nephew Justin recently returned from his military assignment in Afghanistan! We had all been praying for Justin and his fellow Marines and it was good to see that he arrived home safely! In fact, I still pray. I think these young men and women could continue to use our support and prayer in their daily lives while they are away from a war zone and back at home with their families. I know Justin's mom Cindy is tickled beyond belief to have her son safely at home!
When my Sweets sees this behavior in public he says "Get married and get a room!" In our society today we lack humility and modestly. In fact, I often wonder if most of the younger generation  knows what those words mean! I think it is due to all the celebrity coverage and reality T.V. It tends to take away our innocence and often people just think that is how everyone acts! Ack! I am not judging here I am just stating a fact. I was once a single mother and I know the pain and frustration of people and their wickedness with their tongues!
But on a sweet note love tends to align those stars and your eyes are often filled with them and the moon shines on what seems to be only you and him! I really thought the whole concept of this was cute. Plus if you saw my "M" post for Alphabe Thursday you know I enjoy looking t the stars and the moon! I find God's handiwork so comforting. I will do a follow up post this week because I tend to get to wordy and you will be bored with me. So enjoy!
I hope you visit two of my other favorite friends Marydon and Sherry and come join the fun with Love is...today!
Jeremiah 31:35 Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for light by day
And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar

  1. Good morning! I agree with your thoughts about PDA. My third grade (!!) girls had an impromptu mini lesson last week about "teen moms" as they were expressing the thought of how cool it is to be one. I went through the whole issue and tried give them a reality check about that situation! Hope it helps them later in middle school and high school.♥♫

  2. Your choice of cartoons was fun, as always, and also I like the photos of God's grandeur in creating the universe.

  3. Yes, we did pray for Justin & all fellow troops that are protecting us from the world evils. That is a darling Love Is ...

Yes, it is sad the conduct seen in public. It starts at home, then TV adds to the issues ... sad.

I will be down a few days.
    Have a lovely week ~
    TTFN ~

    Marydon

  5. Happy Day Anne Sweetie...
A gorgeous share. Yes we sure did pray Justin right on back into the states did we not? We continue until they are all home safely.

I love your post about public scenes of affection. Yes, it makes you wonder if the parents saw how some of their children display themselves in public, would it affect them? I have seen some pretty wild stuff in the Mall of late. Really sad.

Love your photos of the Moon. A perfect M word for Ms Jenny's Alaphabet share.

Hope you have a glorious weekend dear friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  6. Well dear Anne, I read the first Love IS and thought to myself... that is how I felt counting down the days until Justin came home:) Then, there you were thinking the same thing! I am SO blessed to have loyal friends like you to pray with me! I still pray for him too just like I did when he was on the battlefield! There is danger on our soil too!

I agree with the show of affection in public, a little is OK but like your husband says "get a room":) Have a blessed evening dear friend,

I appreciate your friendship! Over the MOON HAPPY! HUGS!

  11. I so agree with both statements. Especially your views on modesty. It seems to be something that our younger generation is missing on. Both in actions and in the way the dress. Blessings to those serving our country in War. May God's safety and love guide them daily. Blessings!
