Thankful Thursday
For Thankful Thursday my list of thankful is quite lengthy. I am very thankful that prayers works, God answers, often in His own time, but several people here and in messages to me said they were praying. Tarrah was transferred to the same hospital with Ella and she was able to visit her daughter today. Praise God! Such a beautiful blessing and I am of the opinion, not a medical one, that baby Ella is probably feeling stronger already hearing her momma's voice and feeling her touch. When Logan was in the NICU Michael was able to visit and he sang to Logan. His heart and blood pressure were immediately calmed and he was more restful. Sometime love is simply the best answer of all.
I love these silly games/test. This is not really me though, I am not constantly on my phone. IN fact people wonder why I do not answer quickly. HaHa, because I have stuff to do that does not include watching my phone. AT least this feline is funny and sweet. I hope I am like that!
I probably showed you this photo before, as Rebekah took it a few weeks ago. Zach says she dangling a treat in front of them! HaHaHa! They are quite observant when the want something.
A common prayer was answered today. Grateful to God for His grace, His love and answer to a desperate plea. Thank you Lord for all you give to us.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
Wordless Wednesday
Update on our health issues, Nick is getting along well, doing zoom visits with his doctors and getting an appointment next week. Grateful he is doing so well because he has come a long way in a short time.
Tarrah was moved to the same hospital with Ella and is receiving treatment there. Ella is still receiving various treatment and although she is very fragile she is a little fighter. Please continue to pray. Thank you.
Sweet dreams and rest well everyone. I am coming around to try and catch up with commenting. Thank you all for being here with me. Love and Hugs

Happy Tuesday and Tuesday Showy & Tails
My cat, the toddler. Sleeps all day roams all night. He's so soft and furry though. Even Logan liked him. He does not like being touched much by others but Logan gave him a gentle full body rub and he liked it He could be Mikey in the Life Cereal commercial. My cat Mikey hahaha. Visit Happy Tuesday
I am happy to share these happy things today. My lazy soft and fluffy cat and this Mandalorian. This is the look when people say that about you! You know it is! I hope one of these days Angela comes back to blog and do a blog hop too!
Please go apologize so she takes away the bitter cold. We like the snow, the teen and 20's not so much. Our daughter in Western NY has snow, snow and more snow and more snow coming. She was singing the theme song to the movie "Frozen". HaHaHa!
Oh Maxine, I wish!
Prayers are still needed for Tarrah and Baby Ella. Both are being cared for but we pray they both become stronger and healthier . If Tarrah can get well she can go spend her days with her boys and her baby girl. We know Ella has a long road ahead of her but I saw those little fist pumps she was doing. I know she is so brave and so strong. Get well precious momma and baby girl. All those with health issues and job losses and all the rest of the sadness this virus has caused. We need to pray for this world. So many hurting.

The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, O God forgive me or Help me. Billy Graham

Aw....Mondays
Smokey was a beautiful fur baby. He was a patriot having been born on the 4th of July. He loved sitting in chairs like a person. Although he has been gone since December 19, 2019 I will always hold a special place in my heart for this fellow. We took this photo in 2017. He was so shiny and youthful back than. Life is hard. It takes away all the good things we seem to love and cherish. I am going to keep this handsome boy tucked inside my heart forever. The days and weeks are bittersweet with all we have going on. But I am going to visit Sandee & Friends and share in Aw...Mondays today. I am living one day at a time.
Many thanks to all who visit, all who comment and all who just are kind and caring here. You mean so much to me. So here is a cup of tea (or coffee) raised up to each one of you. I was buying a few last minutes gifts and stocking stuffers when I came across a company in New Mexico called Made in New Mexico. When my hubby and I were kids we grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. We loved to be able to buy pinon nuts. They are so tiny and you have get them out of their shell, plus harvesting them is a process in itself. The on line company had coffee called Pinon Coffee. We ordered a gift pack which including two 5 oz. packages of the coffee and it came with a cute mug. We were immediately hooked so we ordered more! It is really excellent coffee. Avery's co worker Anthony heard him talking about the coffee and asked for the info. He came to work the next day telling my hubby his wife ordered over $50 worth of coffee. Chuckle chuckle. We like the whole bean best because you can grind it fresh and it tastes delightful. I like coffee with a splash of cream and seriously, it does not need much else. Not trying to sell you on it but it is heavenly. I am so glad I found this little company. They sell everything made in New Mexico. Except postcards!
I am a little behind the times but this is a sweet Love is... We hang our stockings and we found them filled with lots of wonderful treats. CHRISTmas was good, it was quieter but it was very good. We are praying for Tarrah and Baby Ella. We just want them both well. We need to get Tarrah healthy so she can be with her baby girl. The boys are enjoying their days. They have quite a support system and Logan is staying with Noelle & Roger and enjoying his time by himself for a little while. He is such a beautiful child and he can melt your heart. I am going to post at Facebook but there is someone who is setting up meals and different helping hands for them. Many people are donating money and I am hoping we can get some gift cards in their hands so they can order some take out meals too. The support system they have and the love for them is amazing. Tarrah & Andrew have always been first to offer help to others and many people are repaying their kindness.

P R A Y
We are in prayer. I apologize I have not been visiting. We are catching ourselves coming and going. It seems the more you try to live in peace, a whirlwind of devious proportions upsets your plan.
I was scrolling through some messages I Had received. I noticed a friend had written she was praying for a pre tribulation rapture for CHRISTmas. I keep my eyes upward. When Jesus does return the sky will open like a scroll unfolding. Be on guard, take your eyes off the world and set them on Jesus. I tell myself this every day.
Satan has attacked so many I love. He has attacked dear friends, innocent children, people who are kind and caring. So my daily routine , in the words of my late mother are to, pray and pray harder. Than pray more. I remind myself I belong to Jesus. He shed HIs innocent blood for me.
Today sweet baby Ella Jean was taken to a different hospital. She took her first helicopter ride and is settled in to her new hospital. Pray for Andrew, he can not be with Tarrah but he can be with Ella. Tarrah is suffering in a lot of pain. She is getting the care she needs but without that human interaction from her own loving husband. I am broken over how she is handling it all. The boys are all safe and sound. Between Noelle and Roger and auntie Christal, uncle Alex and the kids. They will all be well cared for. It is a hard time right now for everyone but hopeful we all come together and support all their needs. Logan is enjoying his alone time with his grandparents. He is a happy boy.
I will try to collect my photos are share more. I appreciate each person who comments, I care for you and pray for you too. I appreciate all the sweet cards and gifts too. You know who you are. Thank you so very much.
My friend Lou is asking for people to send her niece Jennifer postcards. She has an aggressive cancer and won't be long for this old world. So if anyone wants to share a postcard with her I posted on my Face Book page. I also have her address to share if needed. Pray for Jennifer and all her loved ones too.
Sweet dreams to everyone, God Bless and Keep you . Stay safe, stay happy, be healthy and warm or cool depending where you are and how your weather is .

CHRISTMAS 2020
This really struck me today as I read it. The ultimate Christmas Story. I am not sure we took many photos today but we enjoyed the day immensely.
Nick is getting along well, resting and enjoying his Christmas time with all of us. Noelle and Roger were late to the party as they were caring for the boys as Tarrah had baby Ella Jean last night and she was 2 lbs. 10 ox. They are both needing prayer and Tarrah was moved to ICU. Andrew can be with Ella but not Tarrah. It is so very hard on him and he is running on empty. He needs rest and it is hard. He loves his phamily so very much. So if you pray, please pray hard for them.Ella Jean has my daddy's initials, I know she is strong. She is a fighter like Logan. Oh Logan...
When you are one you get a little overwhelmed with the gifts. Andrew opened his front door this morning to find two huge boxes filled with gifts for the boys. Kindness prevails at Christmas. Logan is a little doll. He has a calm disposition and he is funny as can be. He loves using his hands and when we offered him a spoon to eat he was like, No thanks! What a crack up. He had my heart all day today. He is so much like brother Michael. Jayden is his father's son and Benjamin, well, the Flash is quick fast! Ella will be a princess, we told God we need a double Christmas Miracle with Tarrah and Ella. It is late and I am tired from all the fun activities we had today. Colton and Jacey came to dinner with the kids, Harrison was a perfect gentleman thanking us for all the gifts and Shea Shea too! She is such a character, she loves her toes and they fit perfectly in her mouth. The girl is a strong willed little diva. We sure love her and she wants cousin Ella to get big and strong so they can play. Auntie Christal and Uncle Alex are taking care of the three brothers this weekend so Andrew can stay at the hospital with his gals! . Noelle and Roger have Logan and he is a joyful child. It seems like yesterday we prayed for him to be healthy and happy and God granted us that. He is a thankful blessing to all of us.
Christmas was beautiful in it's own way today and we ate and laughed and opened gifts. We will have more stories tomorrow. Hoping your day was filled with blessings, love and all good things.

C H R I S T M A S E V E 2 0 2 0
One more sleep and CHRISTmas will be here. Many of you may be sleeping and dreaming of sugar plums dancing in your heads.
Nick is feeling stronger each day. I think he will be good as new soon. The five of us will celebrate here tomorrow. Jeremy and his clan want to wait until Nick receives a clean bill of health so we stood in our driveway earlier today and watched the three kids open their gifts. It was all good fun and Nick was able to watch them too.
Noelle and Roger were to join us but they have been helping Andrew with the boys while he is at the hospital. The kids can use all the prayer we all have to offer. I am hopeful they will be able to have dinner here but we shall wait and see.
As a child my grandmother would sing Silent Night to me in sLOVEnian. I wish I Had learned the words. I was always so in awe of her and her abilities to get around and do things without her sight. It is one of my very favorite CHRISTmas songs to this day.
Silent night, holy night
'Round yon virgin Mother and Child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Shepherds quake at the sight!
Glories stream from heaven afar;
Heavenly hosts sing Al-le-lu-ia!
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born!
Son of God, oh, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth

C H R I S T M A S
Counting each life as His own.
He walks our journey with us, each one.
Remembering His sacrifice for each one of us.
Inside our hearts He will live.
Sacrificing His own life to give us life.
Taking each step on our difficult roads with us.
Making sure we remember how much He loves each one of us, unique and individual as we are.
Amazing love from Our Jesus.
Saving souls, one soul at a time, reminding us we are His forever.
Make a mental note of this verse. Hang on your bathroom mirror or someplace where you will see it everyday. Do not be fearful. Set your heart on Jesus, trust God, they will not let you down.
Words to ponder. Sweet dreams to all. Two more sleeps and CHRISTmas Day will be here. No matter how you spend it, know how incredibly loved you are. You are a unique being, never let anyone tell you otherwise. You were born to be made perfect in His Own Image.

Christmas is in the Air
The snow is melting but the wind and cold is sticking around. Today the day warmed up nicely. Lots of sunshine. About 3:30 this afternoon it started to turn cold again and the wind had been brutal. But CHRISTmas is coming and we are ready for it.

Nick is H O M E
April 11, 2018, Coors Field, a Colorado Rockies game. We always had so much fun. Nick use to have different days off when he worked for amazon we loved to go to the ball games. We both miss those days.
It was a long weekend and today Nick was released from the hospital. Well the on going debate continues the specialists want him to get rest and get well. He was very pleased with his care and gave a shout out to all medical personnel, doctors, nurses and other staff for helping him through this difficult time. He came home with some oxygen so he can rebuilt his strength and taking something for that cough. His appetite is better and he looks forward to CHRISTmas. I am glad I am prepared for the big day in more ways than one. The kids, Rebekah and Zach have a turkey ready to roast and all the fixings for a nice meal.
Zach and Rebekah bought the live stream of the Tran's Siberian Orchestra. They were able to watch it Saturday live on TV but we were able to watch with them later that evening. It is one of the best performances ever and have grown to love them so much. Being there in person was so unique because we always had these great seats where we could live the flames of fires and watching all the performances of each individual singer and musician. They continue to honor Paul O'Neill who brought it all to life. Paul knew how sick he was and had his entire family at the 2016 performance. Although he passed away too young, in 2017, his legacy lives on and TSO is one of the rare CHRISTmas program still honoring God. I'm not much for the parade and all the anti-Christian stuff that is put out today. Christmas is the celebration of Jesus and His birth. I won't stop celebrating Him. It is nice to see their music is still filled with such beautiful and eloquent praise.
Thank you for comments and thank you for friendships and thank you for prayers. We all appreciate each and every one of you. May God richly bless you.

Update on NIck
Nick is still at the hospital and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to their methods. The two doctors at the hospital say they want to go with the virus even though he was tested 6 times at three different locations and all were negative. The two outside doctors, an Infectious Disease Specialist and a Pulmonologist want to find the source of the lung infection. So we pray and wait.

P H A M I L Y
Until Nick gets some answers to why he is so ill, I am going to try to blog but not do the different blog hops. It helps keep my mind busy but I do not want to commit and be disappointed. He was admitted to the hospital last night. He spent several hours at the ER after having a chest XRay and two different CT Scans. Today two specialists were going to review his case. Prayer is greatly appreciated. He was tested a total of four times for the virus and all four times he has been negative. Something is making him sick and he would like to be home where he can get some rest. But he said they are treating him really well and everyone has been very nice to him.
Waiting is the most frustrating part of all of this. Although we know doctors are busy, I worked with them, over 32 years, They are never that busy that they can not give the phamily information that is crucial to the patients healing process.
A good friend of mine contracted the virus along with her spouse and child. They all recovered although the process was slow. Her dad was ill too. It took him longer to heal but he is getting better each day. Her mom however, is the most physical fit of all of them and she was hit the hardest and still struggling to get well.
Nothing about illness, no matter what it is, is easy. Nick ran from the 7th grade and continuing through his college days, 2012-2017. He kept up another year and then sort of stopped running. He has been in very good physical condition so this is so baffling.
Another friend and her husband, a pastor are trying to get well from the virus. The difference between them and Nick is that Nick works from home. From his sleeping quarters in his bedroom to his little office in his sister's old bedroom. My belief is so many have the virus because like Agent Orange, during the Vietnam era, it is truly in the air people breathe. I often hear people say science knows what they are talking about. I worked with scientists. They are the ones who told us in the front office over and over run in the opposite direction of where some so called experts are telling you to go for this wonder drug, that wonder cure, a shot that will cure your ailments. You know who knows all the answers, only God Himself!
Of course this virus is real, you are truly uninformed if you do not believe it. But it is also all over the place. The hubby and I have been tested too. We had no symptoms but the hubby needed proof to show his boss. We are negative. Negative, negative. Nick has been negative every time too. Tested at three different sites. Nothing seems to add up. It is quite baffling.
Here we sit, learning why patience is so important in our lives. No word from the doctor as I type these words.
Nick's BFF is a police officer. He is constantly tested for the virus and he is extremely healthy. The attack on people with disease, regardless what fancy title they give it, is difficult. The road to recovery is a long one. Be safe and please pray.
I do not want to forget this important person in our lives. Please pray for Tarrah and baby girl as her due date is March 12th and she is currently hospitalized so they may stop an early delivery. We have learned to roll with the punches life kicks at us. Faith is what is key. Without it we would all walk around like zombies on a T.V. series.
My final words here today, pray for all who have lost loved ones to the virus and to all other illnesses, accidents and other tragedies of this world. Pray for all recovering and pray this will all end in good health and good times in the very near future.
