Although my heart is heavy today, I am happy I was able to know
Sally DiStefano. She was a terrific and very gracious hostess at Blue Monday for many years here in blog world. She passed away yesterday after numerous health issues. She loved blue and we all scurried to find some great blues to share with her. Sally never missed leaving a comment to each one of her participates. That is dedication and friendship at its finest.
Sally had a true heart for the Lord. She shared her Christian faith simply by being one of the kindest bloggers here. She never stepped back if you engaged her about her faith She stood proud.
Sally was married to John most of her life. They married very young and you knew how much she loved her hubby and the phamily. Sally did not fear death. I beleive she was excited to meet Our Lord and if the true is known about Sally, she may very well be painted some touches of blue across heaven today.
She put this on her Face Book page February 29, 2016. My last comment from her was regarding Blue Monday this week.
In case you are someplace cold today I hope this will warm your heart. I don't see our fearless leader
