Aw...Mondays and Love is....

Aw...Mondays This sloth has a great smile. I thought it was a perfect Monday share. I put two posts on on my other blog and forgot to release it as well as this one. Just one of those days. But this smile made me happy so I liked that.

This face is priceless. I love the look. I wonder what this little one was thinking of?

This is one of my very favorite Love is.... It is good to have someone who understands you and works together with you.

In moving slow he knows no Peer.

You ask him something in his ear;

He thinks about it for a year.

And then before he sayd a word

There, upside down (unlike a bird),

He will assume that you have heard-

A most Ex-as-per-at-ing  Lug.

But should you call his manner Smug,

He'll sigh and give his branch a Hug.

Then off again to sleep he goes,

Still swaying gently by his toes,

And you just know he knows he knows.

Father's Day

My friend Yvonne  shared this having spent her first Fathers Day without her precious dad. He passed away in 2020 but due to restrictions everywhere they held their service for him just recently. It is very lovely.

Forgive me if I jump around here and there today. I want to share this Princess Sassy in memory of Jessica.  She touched the hearts of so many of us and I am going to post these "For the Love of Jessica". I have found kindness matters more than anything these days. except love. It will always matter most. I run the bubble machines several times a day, I wake up in the morning and I turn these bubbles on. I stand in my living room and say, this is for you Jessica, because I know how much you loved bubbles. I glance at a photo of Alastor Avery I have in my curio cabinet and I think, I wonder if Alastor Avery befriended Jessica? She was a good mom and grandma and she would be his instant friend. It truly makes me feel better. Heaven is a better place when the loved ones you lost are there. There is great comfort for me in that.

We will work our way forward. Ella went to brunch with her folks and four brothers and met their Grammie Noelle and Papa Roger there. They even had an omelet called "Ella". When she is older, maybe she will order it.  She is the youngest of the five with Andrew and Tarrah. These two are incredible parents. Now Andrew will tell you out of five children, there is one who loves daddy best:

Andrew says Logan loves him best and one out of five isn't too bad. This is a curly haired daddy's boy. You want to see cuteness, here it is. I think of the day Logan was born. He really  has come a long way and getting so big everyday. A blessing for this 2021 Father's Day.
Benjamin looks a little tired. They drove a long way, about 30-40 minutes across the interstate to come enjoy brunch. They are a neat bunch of boys and a lone sister.

Michael was resting his weary head while waiting for his breakfast food.  This boy is kind, always looking out for others.

You know the expression, like father, like son? Well here they are. The poster boys. Jayden likes to push the envelope. Andrew was a similar child. But he is a good father. He knows what he has to do and he takes on the challenge. He is raising young men and one little lady. I think he and Tarrah are mastering the job.  Happy Father's Day to you Andrew! You are a good father, a keeper, a man who loves his little phamily dearly.

All together for a fun brunch! Happy Father's Day 2021!

The Phamily, Colton and Jacey, Harrison and Shea.
Alastor Avery and Harrison James/ A favorite photo of two brothers, one heavenly today and one enjoying his big brother role with a sister too. Harrison has always been a good brother.  As for daddy Colton, he works hard and spends his free time with his kids. He and Jacey work hard and they have a sweet phamily. Happy Father's Day Colton Edward!

Noelle and Roger love being with their kids. Look at that smile on Roger. It looks like the one he had when he saw his first born grand girl Jaslin graduate from high school. That girl would wrap him around her finger for a lifetime. These two have more grandkids than we do. They have 11 and we have 6. But we have the great grands and they number 11! Roger is their phamily child care provider. When you need help, call your Papa. Happy Father's Day, Roger.

Rebekah and her dad, she and Zach are cooking us dinner tonight. It will be a wonderful time.

Happy Father's Day to the number one dad! This hubby of mine is number one always in my book. He makes me laugh and that has been such good therapy in these past weeks losing sweet friends from my life.  I wish him a wonderful day as he has his own dad on his mind having been born on this day 93 years ago but spending Father's Day in heaven since 1992. Happy Father's Day to all dads out there. They never get the true recognition they deserve.

Billy Graham was one smart man.  I love these words so much.

PHAMILY BUSINESS : I AM BACK IN MY BLOG BUSINESS

I know many of you so graciously stop by and leave your comments knew I was under the weather with food poisoning.  It was awful but I am much better and we just spent an entire 8 days with Hannah and Jake. Our baby girl and her hubby came here for Mother's Day. They drove 22 hours in their RV and we enjoyed wonderful memory making moments with them. If my father were in this world still, he would be so very proud of me. He always told me, don't invite anyone to your home unless you can offer them a cold or hot beverage or a meal.  My older middle brother Ed came to our home years ago, peeked inside our pantry and said, "you are our mother's daughter!"

Our first born girl Noelle and I on Mother's Day 2021. Jeremy, our first born son and his beautiful wife Brittany hosted a brunch in their new home. We were all together except our son-in-law Zach (Rebekah's hubby) who spent his day with his mom. He is a good man.  We had so much food, bacon and eggs, bagels, toast, stuffed French Toast and Cracker Barrel style cheesy hash brown with and without ham.   We had Rebekah's famous pasta salad and lots of great memories. Rebekah created a "MOMosa" Bar.  We ate, drank yummy drinks and enjoyed the company of some of  our grands and two of our great grands.

Those of you who know "the Mean Mugger" a/k/a Shea Shea or formally known as Shea Avery Marie . You know she is her own person. This lil lady turns 1 in three days. She is a fashion diva but set a long and steep staircase in front of her and she will scurry as fast as those chubby legs will carry her up the stairs. She knows no fear, smiles the biggest and brightest smiles she can make and she will mean mug you if she is not interested in you telling her the dirty word " N O "! She loves big brother Harrison but she is the spitting image of her "Angel" brother Alastor Avery. She is a daddy's girl and will steal your heart. Our grand boy Brody loves this child and he is not afraid to tell the whole world!

Hannah and Harrison spent a quiet moment while Brody looked on. What a terrific day we had. I kept thinking how proud my folks would have been to see us all together. A joyful day. Filled with blessings and good moments.

This big brother jumped off a cliff into the deep water in Mexico where he vacationed with his granmmies Lisa and Carolyn. Fearless and kind he is showing Duke, Jeremy and Brittany's pup some love on those long stairs up to the second level of their new home. Sharing with Aw...Mondays

Anyone who knows me well knows I do not go along with the wicked ways of this ole world. I am not going to be political.  I steer away from social media for that very reason but I found this quiz. It is generalized but my lifelong friend Carole (another good BoJon girl) shared this one having just lost her mom in late 2020. I took the quiz and came up with this answer. It was perfect. My parents demanded respect from all of us. My father was the kindest, most quiet, wonderful man. He worked 47 years in the CF and I Steeel Corp. But he made sure we were respectful and kind to all we encoutered. So unless you were raised without regard for others, you should have a common, basic courtesy of being a decent human being around others. Having attended Catholic school from k to 11 I made sure to mind. No one ever wanted to be in the path of Sister of Beatrice or Sister Zavier while they were swinging their yardstick! Worse yet, the metal edged ruler. Yet none of us ever had the desire to harm anyone else or commit a crime. I am extremely grateful for the education I had in parochial and Catholic high school. My parents had hardsghips of their own yet they never complained and made sure we were raised with faith in God, respect for others and kindness in our hearts.

Rebekah set up a Momosa sign at the brunch. We enjoyed champagne with different juices and fresh fruit and it was wonderful.

Rebekah had this made for me, a cupcake bouquet but she made sure the fellas had some chocolate cupcakes of their own. She is a good daughter, wife and general all around kind soul. She and Zach gifted me with two beautiful floral bouquests. Once my photos are organized, I will post more of the fun and wonderul gifts I received.

Rebekah and Hannah made freckle faces on Mother's Day 2021 on the way to Jeremy & Brittany's.

Noelle, Jeremy, Avery, myself, Rebekah, Nick and Hannah. This was us, Mother's Day 2021.

Avery Bear never tells a fib. He tells it exactly the way it is. We are loud and wacky and silly. We love to laugh, we crack jokes, we have fun and we love each other with every fiber of our being. I am guessing it is the BoJon and Irish mixed up blood the kids have.

I will end here and be back with more Mother's Day stories and photos. I am going to head over to  My Tata's Cottage too.  I will be sharing more stories there. Have a beautiful day and an  incredibly wonderful week and be kind.  This is a perfect share for Sparks

Love is...makes me smile when I think of all the time I was laid up from my neurosurgery, not once or twice but three times.  Anytime I am under the weather, there is Avery caring for me, like the sweet and kind man that he is. I love him and thank him for being so amazing.  Have a blessed and beautiful week everyone.

Aw...Mondays and More

 Aw...Mondays

Rebekah and Avery took a Easter SONday photo with me. We had such a wonderful day. I will blog about our meal each day this week. Zach made a Prime rib, Rebekah baked a Honey Ham. We had a wonderful time and Jeremy and Brittany and kids joined us. They brought yummy green bean casserole. We felt so blessed. The eggs hunted for eggs and each one received a Golden Egg. It was fun for everyone . We are always so grateful to celebrate the Resurrection SONday.  We made similar meals like those we shared with our own parents over the years. Missing two of our kids, Noelle (Roger) and Hannah (Jake). Grateful we can hopefully be all together for Mother's Day.

I am very grateful for Simone. She and her hubby Pastor Jeff are in Oregon these days. She shared this for Easter and I am very blessed to have her in my life. She was a longtime blogger and married Jeff and began their journey pastoring together several years ago. I feel like God gave me these precious gifts for a specifiic reason so I want to share them with you too.

As a small child I learned early the significance of Easter and the season that surrounds it. While enjoying egg hunts and chocolate bunnies I was taught at a very young age  what it all means and I spent some quality time on Good Friday going over memories, reading Scripture and remembering all I was taught at such a young age. I am always and forever grateful for my upbringing and I am so happy to know the handful of godly women who keep me upright.

I feel the time is drawing near for the return of Jesus and I do not want to be left behind. If you ever had the opportunity to watch the series Left Behind or read the books by Tim Lahaye it laid out the road map to what we will see coming. I often am shocked at Christians who post things at social media that are so unbecoming to their faith. We are not to worry or trouble ourselves about things of this world. It is what it is and fighting over all of it will not help anyone.

A peek at the prime rib Zach prepared at the wee hours before dawn. Grateful for this. He is willing to grill lamb chops next. I sure love having these crafty cooks in my home.

A phamily photo of the Robinson bunch on Easter SONday 2021. Addy is getting to be so grown up and the boys, they are something to keep you young at heart, mind and sometime even your body. We enjoyed our day immensely. My father would often say this is what phamily is.  Not wealth, or things, or opinions or advice. Just loving those closest to you. I miss my folks and my honey misses his on this Resurrection SONday.

My mother-in-law Rita was a beautiful young lady. I love this photo of her holding a lamb. She was a farm girl and she was a beautiful heart.

A colorful Love is...reminding us sometime it is ok to put all your eggs in one basket. My father always said, don't put all your eggs in one basket but I did right by trusting my love for the past nearly 36 years.

Although Annie has been on hiatus, this quote by a favorite player in the MLB my father talked about to me. I love this so very much,

Saddened to see the MLB and the PGA jump into the political nonsense. No ryhme, no reason, just sheer pure hatred. So sad. . No matter your views, your thoughts, your opinions, HATRED is HATRED when only one side matters. Tragic. I am grateful my father is not here to witness the absolute destruction of this country and the world as he would have known it. Jesus, we are waiting on you. Please hurry.

Hoping you had a blessed and very beautiful day. The weather was gracious and as I walked across my yard to check outside lights tonight it feels like rain may be in the forecast.

Sleep well, dream beautifully and praying we meet again.

Aw...Mondays and Other Monday Highlights

This is an oldie but such a goodie. I love how similar these two look. Aw...Mondays

Love is...perfect in everyway.

A verse I have to remember everyday I live.

Sparks Some wise words to keep Sparks in our hearts. Today and always.

Don't lose your grip upon your conscience. God put it in your breast to act as sentinel over your weaknesses. ~Minna Thomas Antrim (1861–1950), Don'ts for Girls, 1902

Never rob your character to enrich your pocket. ~James Lendall Basford (1845–1915), Seven Seventy Seven Sensations, 1897

It is not to know what to do, but strength to do it, knowing. ~Muriel Strode (1875–1964), "A Soul's Faring: LXXVIII," A Soul's Faring, 1921

The two biggest little words in the English language are the two little words "do right." ~Bob Jones, Sr. (1883–1968)

The world is becoming more complicated every day, my fellow citizens. No man ought to be foolish enough to think that he understands it all. And, therefore, I am glad that there are some simple things in the world. One of the simple things is principle. Honesty is a perfectly simple thing. ~Woodrow Wilson, Presidential Address at Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1914 July 4th

Never mind the value of Granddad's dollar in today's money. What about the value of Granddad's word in today's morals?" ~Robert Brault, rbrault.blogspot.com, 2019

How others treat me is their path; how I react is mine. ~Wayne Dyer (1940–2015)

Have a good night's rest and prayerfully thinking of all of you and hoping we are here again tomorrow.

Aw...Mondays and More

Three little puppies sitting in the chair....wishing everyone here an Aw.......Mondays

Loki, Lulu and Mollie, three puppies in a pod. They are so sweet, especially if a tasty reward is in their view.

Oh this Love is...is perfectly sweet! We need body heat to survive this March Madness Marathon Snow Week.

"Nature is full of genius.  Full of  the divinity; so that not a snowflake escapes it's fashioning hand." Henry David Thoreau

Annie has been away from blogging and everyone misses her. Here is another winter wonderland quote to share.

The whiteness is blinding even without the sun shining. We keep hearing this will end around the 12:30 hour this A.M. It has been a long while since we had a blizzard like this and we live on the wrong side of the street. The wind has blown 90 % of the snow over to our side. There isn't anywhere to toss the snow. But somehow we will get through it all. We live in high altitude (5280) , we know how snow can change your plans in a moment and we have learned all our lives how to deal with it all.

 - While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

MONDAY FUN DAY

I start something and sometimes it never gets finished. Lately, I have been thinking about AlphabeThursday and the fact that May 16, 2016 was the last time we heard from Jenny on her blog. She was magnificent at what she did for all of us.  I may just post my own version of Alphabe Thursday and try to keep it up from A to Z.  I have kept up with Jenny and sent letters and cards but I don't know anyone who has heard anything from her. I do know she moved but other than that, nothing else. so I will try to get the alphabet done in 28 weeks of A to Z.
Now I hope you will visit Sandee and share your favorite Aw....Monday animal post.
This friendship is really something and the person who took the photo really had a gem of a photo op! So sweet.
Blue skies and bright Spring like pink flowers.  The perfect combo for Blue Monday. We have snow tonight and dark skies but I love seeing a bright blue sky. Makes me smile. So visit Blue Monday and share your favorite blue today.
RIP Stephen Hawking. I have always loved this quote attributed to him. The most intelligent man in the world and lived a long life with a horribly devastating illness. I was saddened by his death but smiled at the remarks of his children who all said he was the kindest person they ever knew. I do believe life is what you make it. Thanks for all the memories Stephen Hawking. You were an amazing human being. Please visit Annie and share something positive and enlightening today.
This is a tiny faker. Somehow I believe newborn babies contemplate how they can control their parents from the moment they lay eyes on that baby. This little guy likes late night wide awake times and daytime sound sleeping. Laughing out loud, because our son Jeremy was a night owl too. Like father, like son. Babies make me smile and my life is good because of it.
Maxine seems fitting today. She and Brody would great along famously. When I saw the caption about Mr. Coffee, I thought about Joe DiMaggio. Do you remember him hawking Mr. Coffee on T.V. commercials? If you love baseball like I do you will know "Joltin' Joe", the "Yankee Clipper".
Did I mention baseball is in the air? Coming to a city near you in a few short weeks.
A terrific application to life.
