Derby Hat Time For Pink Saturday/Love is.../Blue Monday

This is my new Kentucky Derby hat. I love the straw hat with the pretty peach flower adorning it. I have to have a new hat and I am thinking about hosting a wonderful tea party. I love hats and I think our world needs more of them. So I decided to share some today for Pink Saturday with Beverly.
I am a polka dot person so I am loving this pink hat dotted with black polka dots. Pretty!

A fascinator may be your style. You have to be pretty bold to carry this hat! You only live once so enjoy it!

This is my next hat purchase. I love the detail and all the pretty flowers and ribbon. This is perfect to display too.

I hope you are a hat person and you will share your favorites with me. Have a terrific weekend and  visit Beverly and all the pinkies today. I also wanted to share my Love is...today. I am late because my husband's brother is back with us and we have been busy setting up a temporary bed on the downstairs sofa until Jeremy moves to the new home in two weeks. I am unsure if I am coming or going. But helping a former Veteran is not a chore so we have been busy.
There is a button I have seen at Face Book that something like "I'm too lazy to fold laundry so I just turn the dryer back on". I did something similar. I hung some blankets out on my clothesline that the dogs use. The wind started to pick up but I left them overnight. They are still enjoying the sunshine and I will head out there shortly to pick them up. we all have our moments. This Love is...is so cute. My hubby is going to be catching himself coming and going ! There is another phase to the office remodel and move so he will be working extra hours April 30 and May 1. So I do not expect too much from him when he is so busy at work. But other days we do hang some laundry out and this Wednesday the is off for the entire day and I am excited to spend it with him. I love the smell of fresh laundry on the line. Tomorrow I will wash our sheets. They are the very best when you bring them in from the sunshine. Sigh....
Since my Kentucky derby hat theme is here I thought I'd share a couple blues with Sally and the Blue Crew. This one is very demure and sweet and this next one has that Wow factor!
How about a peacock feather hat? There is a lot of blue in those pretty feathers. I hope you enjoyed my hats. You can always join me at pinterest too. I have a board called Horray for Hats and I like to share fun hats, simple styles and those over the top Derby hats! Enjoy your week and smile!

Pink Saturday/Blue Monday/Love is...

Oh I have fallen behind! It has been a busy summer all around and I am missing visiting my most favorite people here. So I am playing a little catch up: Beverly at Pink Saturday and the wonderful Pinkies too!; Sally and the Blue Crew at Blue Monday and of course, a favorite Love is.. I always try to remind you that Marydon  hangs out at Face Book these days so tell her to get busy and post her favorite Love is...
Oh my, Vegas baby! The sensational city at dusk with blue and pink highlights for some of my favorite memes!
I see some favorite colors here too! The vintage old school Vegas sign! My phamily has planned this trip for over one year. We planned it around Nick's 21st birthday! Everyone is going  except our sweet middle. She will fly out Friday when the hubby and I are back in town!  The grandson Colton is missing the fun, he has a fabulous new job, at UPS! Loving all that physical work he does! It may be the money he makes! Laugh Out Loud! So fifteen days from today the hubby and I will board a plane. The rest of our gang will be there Wednesday. Due to a snafu at my honey's job, we have to return early and go out early so....We are just happy to be going! We want to catch a show. The boys like playing cards so we will leave that to them. The girls will be shopping and dancing the night away!
Ah....the secrets this town holds! We are pretty content seeing a show and enjoying the sights. Not much late light party animals with me and my Mister!
These two ducks looked like they were practicing yoga on a log! They were at the open spaces this morning steering clear of Mr. Greedy, the Pelican Man!
This greedy fellow eats all the frogs and fish his belly can hold! He doesn't care about the hungry ducks and geese! He looks as though he is also practicing his yoga!

Marydon and I share a love for these sweet little Love is...cartoons. I thought this one was perfect for Vegas! Although many times in our marriage tough times happen and we felt like we lived in a house of cards! Enjoy your week and thank you for visiting me here.
