This is my new Kentucky Derby hat. I love the straw hat with the pretty peach flower adorning it. I have to have a new hat and I am thinking about hosting a wonderful tea party. I love hats and I think our world needs more of them. So I decided to share some today for Pink Saturday with Beverly.
I am a polka dot person so I am loving this pink hat dotted with black polka dots. Pretty!
A fascinator may be your style. You have to be pretty bold to carry this hat! You only live once so enjoy it!
This is my next hat purchase. I love the detail and all the pretty flowers and ribbon. This is perfect to display too.
I hope you are a hat person and you will share your favorites with me. Have a terrific weekend and visit Beverly and all the pinkies today. I also wanted to share my Love is...today. I am late because my husband's brother is back with us and we have been busy setting up a temporary bed on the downstairs sofa until Jeremy moves to the new home in two weeks. I am unsure if I am coming or going. But helping a former Veteran is not a chore so we have been busy.
There is a button I have seen at Face Book that something like "I'm too lazy to fold laundry so I just turn the dryer back on". I did something similar. I hung some blankets out on my clothesline that the dogs use. The wind started to pick up but I left them overnight. They are still enjoying the sunshine and I will head out there shortly to pick them up. we all have our moments. This Love is...is so cute. My hubby is going to be catching himself coming and going ! There is another phase to the office remodel and move so he will be working extra hours April 30 and May 1. So I do not expect too much from him when he is so busy at work. But other days we do hang some laundry out and this Wednesday the is off for the entire day and I am excited to spend it with him. I love the smell of fresh laundry on the line. Tomorrow I will wash our sheets. They are the very best when you bring them in from the sunshine. Sigh....
Since my Kentucky derby hat theme is here I thought I'd share a couple blues with Sally and the Blue Crew. This one is very demure and sweet and this next one has that Wow factor!
How about a peacock feather hat? There is a lot of blue in those pretty feathers. I hope you enjoyed my hats. You can always join me at pinterest too. I have a board called Horray for Hats and I like to share fun hats, simple styles and those over the top Derby hats! Enjoy your week and smile!

You know I love hats too, have quite a few of them. I need more head forms though so I can keep them on display.

Those are some amazing hats. I wish we could get back to seeing more ladies wearing fashionable hats!
I love hats, but can't see myself wearing the 2nd and 3rd - one needs to be tall for that (my excuse:):) )
I love your hats, especially the second one. We used to call these picture hats. It would be wonderful to see more women wearing hats again. When I was a young girl, a new hat was something very special.
Thank you for sharing this memory. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
I think some of the Derby horses are beautiful animals - but your hat is perfect for a run for the roses!
Hi Anne,
I like hats, but I haven't worn one for ages. (I never did like "hat hair.") Thanks for playing today.
Are you on FB? Friend me (Sally DiStefano)
Happy Blue Monday!
I love hats too. I like that peacock one.
I love hats too. I remember my mother wearing hats to church back in the 60's when I was a kid.
They are fashionable hats!
Thanks for dropping by :)
Amazing hats! I have a friend who makes fascinators, they are absolutely crazy - but beautiful!
Wonderful hats, these designs are beautiful works of art, beautiful pictures !!
Stylish hats. The peacock hat is eye-catching, but I love the simple romantic lines of the first hat.
