I love these homes on acreage near a huge shopping center. I am sure at one time there was more homes with farms than there are today. A sad fact in America. But I always enjoy looking at the fences. Visit TexWisGirl and share some fences today.
Lots of colorful umbrellas to share with you at Ms. Jenny's for the letter "U" this week. we have had some cooler temps and possible rain mixed with snow. You might need an umbrella here or your heavy winter coat, we just never know! Colorado is colorful and unpredictable when it comes to our weather.
My daughter Hannah wants Leo to come live with us. He is a 19 month old mixed breed, shepherd and Mastiff. Those are scary words! Because the Mastiff is such a large breed. My kids always know someone who has a dog or cat but no one to help them because they live in a place where no pets are allowed or only one in the case of Leo. He is staying with a co worker of Hannah's while she searches for the perfect home for him. What do you think? He is well mannered and all that good stuff so we will see what happens.
My grandson Colton and I had lunch today with his mom, my daughter Noelle and my middle daughter Rebekah. We had quite fun afternoon. We ate at Cinzzetti's which is an Italian buffet style eatery. The food was great and we had good conversations. Makes everyday living more fun!
Some of the dishes they serve.

sweet pup but that's a lot of dog! you've got to want a big dog, for sure. :)
thanks for the rural scene! and looks like you had a good lunch!
Wonderful fun photos and lovely family ~
love my doggie but would think twice about you getting one ~ They tie you down if you are interested in traveling ~ that is a beautiful dog ~ but those are my thoughts.
Happy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
What pretty umbrellas and what a handsome dog!
An Italian buffet?? YUM!
Good Fence shot. Seems like a barren landscape though, do they farm it?
Leo is quite a handsome dog. Hope he gets a forever home soon.
Cute dog, the food looks yummy, love the umbrellas!
Yes, I think Leo needs to come live with you! You made me hungry just looking at that food! Pretty umbrellas.
Hope your son will get what he wants! It's almost more fun to see our kids do well than when we bought ur house ourselves! Thanks for your visit. Those chocolate souffles lok to die for!
Wonderful pictures, beautiful, brilliant, in my city also put streets with umbrellas, apparently is fashion!
I love the colourful umbrella shot and Leo is a handsome lad, hard decision to make I imagine.
Lunch out with the family is always fun :)

big dogs are no harder to care for than little dogs, we have 2 that are 50 pounds each and you will have one that is 100 pounds... go for it. he looks wonderful.. love the umbrellas and fence...
That does look like a good lunch and you are so right about sharing the time with family. Enjoyed your post here. Thanks for sharing.
Food really does taste better when you are surrounded with family:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
He's sure a pretty boy...
Maybe she can be responsible for him? That way you can just be the fun person who plays with him???
Leo is a beautiful dog! Someone will be lucky to have him!
Oh boy, what a great dog, I'm sure someone will be in love with him soon! That place looks great and the food...I'm so hungry right now, here it's 12:15!
Have a nice weekend.

Thanks for sharing your slice of life...I love dogs, but I think I'll stick with cats♪
Leo is a beautiful dog. I think you'll enjoy him as much as he'll enjoy living with you. You just can't beat the love and companionship of a dog. If you should travel and cannot take him with you, maybe your daughter could watch him for you. I always take Pogo with me, but of course, he is tiny. Not even six pounds. But a big dog is just as wonderful as my little guy.
My daughter had two big shepherds (125 lbs and 75 lbs) for the longest time. Old age finally took them. Now she has two rescued dogs that are half as big as the shepherds.
You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Oh, Wow, Anne. Such a nice post, it's like reading a little weekly letter from you on Saturday morning.
That is a really nice place where you ate, the food looks sooo good. I like Italian. Hand-me-down dogs and cats are usually nice mannered. Being a male dog, he might cause you more problems than a female.
Our Adi (beagle dog) and Amber (cat) were given to us by our Karen when she was not able to care for them. AND THEY STAYED. Both have died now, and so has Katrin (toy poodle given by Mrs. Jim's dying friend). Adi became a therapy dog, she and I were a team who visited senior living and Alzheimer homes. The people loved her. They'd love on her a bit and then tell all about a dog they had back home.
I have a 'forever' blogging friend and now Facebook who is coming to Colorado in June. Can you make it quit snowing by then? She is bringing a 19 year-old niece, Sarah, with her. They are going to an over-a-weekend conference at Windsor Colorado. I think it might be church related.
..
He is a sweet looking doggie and I am sure he will get the right home real soon. Enjoyed your post, lovely photos!
Animals can be SO expensive if cared for correctly.. I used to have a dog (Duchess) and loved her so much. She lived for about 15 years. BUT--now since hub and I travel so much, we have opted not to have any animals... Good Luck if you all take that BIG one...
Looks like a wonderful lunch with Colton, Noelle and Rebekah... Like you said, food tastes better when eating with those you love.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
The picture with the fence looks similar to our Sons yard. Hope you are having good weather there. I had lunch with my daughter today, she took a personal day and it was good to talk one-on-one.

I never really wanted a dog, did it for the kids....said in hushed whispers as you know who is listening... but now can't imagine life without the crazy poodle, he keeps me fit, I meet all the neighbours whilst out walking with him, he is a great companion...
But I would get a time out/holiday clause put in so that you have cover if you take Leo ... just saying :)
But the upside is that if you take Leo you can have seconds on those chocolate mini souffles as you will be walking it all off!!!
Can't wait to see what you decide!
