Duck Dynasty for Pink Saturday

Oh pink camo is so cool! Do you watch the Ducks? I love it! I am a huge fan. I think I am more happy happy happy to see Phil share the gospel than anything else! Everything else I like is cancelled, finished or otherwise so I had to find something to make me smile again! I love these ladies. They make pink cool!

"U" is for Uplifting

I love things that make me feel uplifted! I like to read books that are uplifting! To think I nearly chose "Unsettling" to share my U post today! Our country is certainly in an uncertain and unsettling situation! So I will pray. It makes me feel better because I know all in all the Lord has it under control. We have to trust Him and He will reveal what He needs us to know in His time not ours. I thought this photo was beautiful and uplifting.

We may get some snow tomorrow. So this photo caught my eye and the bible verse is very beautiful and uplifting.

Kind words are uplifting. Mean words are unsettling.

Friendship is uplifting. Enemies make life unpleasant.

I love the mountains, my father loved being a Colorado native (me too!). He studied the Book of James. It is a very favorite book in the bible that I love to read. It has lots of uplifting advice there.

We are struggling with some financial difficulties now. Pray for us. We think we have found the right place and the best choice to deal with the overwhelming financial difficulties we acquired with all the household expenses we had including plumbing and heating problems! I appreciate all of you and I appreciate your prayers. Thanks for stopping by.

Blue Monday/Love is..../T is for Tiny

Today we took our usual walk. It was crisp and beautiful. I wore blue and my honey wore blue pants. Look at the sky blue! Now visit Sally and all the Blues! Happy Blue Monday!

Love is...watching football! We like our Broncos and they won! It is always fun but I never ask questions! I already know too much about football! LOL! Visit Marydon and share your favorite Love is...too!

"T" is for tiny! Here is Hannah with her favorite tiny, three lb. Roxanne!  Little tiny has been ill and we are all working hard to help her stay as healthy as we can! The vet thinks Roxanne was used as a breeder and she was dumped when she was no longer useful! She was rescued and has been happily living with us for a few years. She keeps getting infections and spends most of her days on antibiotics. But she is happy and comfortable and we will love her and care for her as longer as the tiny girl is here!

Our kitten turned five months old on September 30th. He was originally thought to be a girl and named Tiger Lily! Surprise he is a boy and we called him Tiger.  But my hubby says he is a "Mickey" so he has a dual name just like our Boots did! This fellow was tiny once and he is growing by leaps and bounds. No longer tiny but weighing in at six lbs. He loves to snuggled with Roxanne. He is a kind heart. Funny how animals have that sixth snese and they know when another animal is hurting.

"S" is for Sunshine and Blue Monday Touched with Love is...

As a child I loved learning this song and I sang it a lot! As a young mother I sang it to my children. It is a wonderful song and I found a few images to share for Sally and the Blue Crew!

This one has a pretty blue and yellow sun flower drawing on the card! So simple and sweet.

Colorado is happy the sun has returned! This image shares a beautiful sunrise shared by a happy skier! The sky is always so blue here!

In the book "A 1,000 Places to see Before You Die" shares Telluride, Colorado as a place to visit. The sun loves shining on this beautiful town and if you ever have the chance to visit please do.It is tucked away high in our mountains and this is a view you would see. Blue skies, spacious open spaces.

Doesn't this Love is...warm your heart? I love seeing eye to eye with my hubby and some days it does not always happen. On Friday he took off several hours from work to take me to urgent care for an ear infection. My silly doctor happened to see on call and sent me home with some very strong medication. I am still light headed but will head to work this morning. I will have to learn to cut down on my stress and spend a few more quiet moments than not! My hubby made some favorite foods for me and made sure I was taken take of. It made me smile even through my pain! Say a prayer for Marydon because she is dealing with a more serious health issue. She always shares her favorite Love is... with us so you should too.

A few areas of Colorado will thrill you with their pretty autumn colors. But hurry snow was in the high country this weekend and more is on the way. Visit Ms. Jenny and see all the "S" posts there! I was late but share my favorites too. This week had to see sunshine after all the rain we had!
