I am loving all the little Love is...cartoons. Although we do not play tennis, I thought this sentiment was perfect.
Christmas lights looking bright! See the blue in there? Boondocks is a fun center within walking distance of my home. Our daughter Hannah was there last night and took this photo. You can ride the bumper cars or play miniature golf. We are going to play some miniature golf once Nick gets home.

Of course the blue lights won't shine for me on our 2014 Christmas tree. Lots of red, gold and silver adorns it but it is tall and the tree topper won't fit! Any suggestions?
I walk each morning at the open spaces. The geese have been naughty and they left their calling cards all over the sidewalks near the water. I walk around the grassy field which incompasses about 0.9 miles. They are setting up for the annual Winter Fest and I took a few photos. Of course, at night it will be beautiful with all the colorful lights.
This tree will look lovely when it is decorated with lights and pretty treasures.
I love the log cabin. It all reminds me of a quiet little village. If we had a little snow, it would be perfect.
Sally and the Blues are waiting for us to add our blue shares. I know my open spaces photos are sharing plenty of beautiful blue Colorado skies!
A final share, a poem for those who love the wintry white snow:

A final share, a poem for those who love the wintry white snow:
Snow-flakes
Out of the bosom of the Air,
Out of the cloud-folds of her garments shaken,
Over the woodlands brown and bare,
Over the harvest-fields forsaken,
Silent, and soft, and slow
Descends the snow.
Even as our cloudy fancies take
Suddenly shape in some divine expression,
Even as the troubled heart doth make
In the white countenance confession,
The troubled sky reveals
The grief it feels.
This is the poem of the air,
Slowly in silent syllables recorded;
This is the secret of despair,
Long in its cloudy bosom hoarded,
Now whispered and revealed
To wood and field.
Have a happy week everyone!
