Thankful Thursday Feline Friday and Pink Saturday

Logan Odin was not waiting to join his three older brothers.  He made his debut a bit too early. Please keep him and his parents Andrew and Tarrah in your prayers along with big brothers Jayden, Michael and Benjamin. I can't post much more than this but he is a tough little fellow. God is good and we are praying.

Visit Thankful Thursday and say hello to Brian and everyone participating there.
Here is a motley crew. The Feline Breakfast Club. Cats are creatures of habit where their nourishment is concerned. Visit Feline Friday and tell Sandee and the folks there happy weekend while sharing a feline funny, photo or quote. Enjoy the weekend.
Cats are owners of people and not the other way around.
Pink Cat Pop Art. The artist: James Ahn. Stop over to say hello to Pink Saturday This image is copyrighted and belongs to the artist James Ahn. It is very lovely.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY AND HUMP DAY

I never tire of this silly camel! Happy Hump Day all!
North Ponto Beach, Carlsbad, California. Taking a small getaway with Rebekah and Zach to Carlsbad next month. The hubby's friend, former co worker and now boss, Tony spends tons of time in Carlsbad with his phamily and Rebekah and Zach wanted to get back to the San Diego area so here we go. I am not very good at Wordless Wednesday but the google image made me smile. ah.....relaxation.
I sure love this simple yet powerful verse.

HAPPY TUESDAY AND TAILS

If this sweet baby doesn't make you  have a Happy Tuesday NOthing will. I found this a few years ago at Pinterest. I still love it.
Oh Maxine, you are confused! I love watching the stars and she is confused about stars in Hollywood. Boy, are we different!
Prayers for Tarrah, wife of grandson Andrew and their unborn son. They are trying to figure out what is going on with her. Trying to keep the baby from coming too early. I am praying doctors have the wisdom to find the solution to the problems she is having.
I love this google find. What a sweet baby. When it comes to them, my grandmother always said, God gives us what He thinks we need.  I love sweet babies,
It's suppose to be 100 tomorrow. So here is a cold and snowy Winter's Day. Reminding you that Winter is coming eventually so we can complain about the cold. I Use to dread getting out in the snow. Now I have the luxury of staying in my home. I am happy.
My cousin Dan on a cute pony. I was not born yet when there was a man walking through the streets taking photos of your child on this pony. I missed the good stuff but Tuesday Show and Tail didn't.

Aw....Mondays and More

My Aw....Mondays share. My cute little mom with Gigi and Renee her pup. My dad let us breed Gigi once and she had five puppies. The stud's phamily (lol) took a male pup and there were two females and two more males. I was able to keep my Renee D' Orleans Antoinnette. She was AKC registered like her momma. I lost her in 1983. She had breast cancer. She waited for me to tell her goodbye before she passed away peacefully. That was so long ago but I never forgot those precious pups. They were poodles.  Our Gigi was Gigi Olvera. Her own mother had been a circus performer. Gigi was a very sweet girl too. Always thinking about them and my mom , she was so good with them. My dad was a kind because he flew Gigi from Fort Bragg, NC. My big sis's neighbor was headed to Germany and could not take the pup. She flew in with the bishop of our Catholic dioese. She was riding in style.
My dad was always dressed so nice when he was not working 12 hour shifts at the Colorado Fuel and Iron Corporation where he worked as a head roller in the rail mill. I sure my miss my folks. This photo was taken in "the Grove" at my grandmother's home.

Blogger and friend Lady Kathrine Smith is needing prayer. She has dealt with pancreatic cancer on and off for quite some time and her younger brother was dealing with it as well. Please pray. She herself is an amazing and faithful warrior for Jesus. Some LuLaRoe friends lost a dear friend Marsha who left behind a husband and two young children.  Please pray for Brenda and Raizy and Marsha's family. Her loss was devastating for everyone who knew her. Although she is now at peace, those who loved her are grieving. Prayers for grand girl Tarrah. Baby Boy is not due until October but she suffers from seizure disorder and fell last night. She was hospitalized and  started to have contractions.  she was able to go home to their three boys today but was told to return ASAP if contractions come one per hour. She also has a follow up appointment tomorrow. Pray for Andrew and the boys also. Thank you.

The puppies are practicing naughtiness. Ring Leader Thor , light blonde with Jon Bon Jovi wings on his luxurious hair weighing in at 7 lbs. and Molly, petite , innocent looking (never be fooled by this) and 3 lbs. were caught on video destroying yet another puppy bed. We are certain Leo was giving them private lessons because if anyone could destroy a puppy bed it was Leo. We once arrived home to wall to wall stuffing and shreds of bedding material from one end of the house to another. Thor also offers lesson in non stop barking. Particularly at the 11 P.M. hour. He has the equivilent to Vulcan hearing a/k/a Dr. Spock from Star Trek! You give a pup a good home and this is how they thank you.
School supplies are popping up everywhere.  This little sweet cartoon made me smile. Leave it to your kid to forget to remind you. HaHaHa!
A M E N !
Have a great week everyone.

FELINE FRIDAY

When Mr. Kitty was a tiny kitten my hubby liked to turn on the red dot. That silly feline chased it around trying to climb walls and jumping at it. I think perhaps some feline are still trying to slay that red dot. So here is a Feline Friday share. Sandee is the host and she goes above and beyond  with her participates. She is a terrific friend. I love stopping by and sharing.
The week went by quickly. The summer weather has arrived in full force, ninety-five today. I am afraid to see what tomorrow will bring.
98.5 KYGO is a local country western music station. They shared this at social media and I had to chuckle. It is so true.
HaHaHa! I am not like that old woman in the shoe. I like the shoe, it's bigger and I have stuff. I love my stuff. I am not a tiny house fan! All that climbing and bumping your head on the ceiling, uh-no thank you!
I never tire of this photo of my dad. I also
love this one: My father always had a beautiful smile. He worked in the C F and I Steel Corporation for 47 years. It is rare to find men like those of his generation today.

A POEM and LOVE

The Man I Prayed For
Dear God, I prayed, all unafraid
(as we’re inclined to do),
I do not need a handsome man
but let him be like You;
I do not need one big and strong
nor yet so very tall,
nor need he be some genius,
or wealthy, Lord, at all;
but let his head be high, dear God,
and let his eye be clear,
his shoulders straight, whate’er his state,
whate’er his earthly sphere;
and let his face have character,
a ruggedness of soul,
and let his whole life show, dear God,
a singleness of goal;
then when he comes
(as he will come)
with quiet eyes aglow,
I’ll understand that he’s the man
I prayed for long ago.
Poem by Ruth Graham Bell
I love this poem. It reminded me so much of my sweet hubby I shared it at my social media account last year. I am re sharing it there and here too.
I love all the photos I have of us through the years. I would not trade one moment we shared for all the money or fame in the world. I am happy.

This is my share for Thankful Thursday  eventually I will remember Brian hosts this meme and Sandee hosts Feline Friday. These two are sweethearts for sharing all the goodness with all of us.
Billy Graham always said he admired his wife. While he was on the road she was at home raising the kids. I think she did a splendid job.
A final note before I sign off. Did you know that in the country if Vietnam a person has to have a certificate from a doctor stating they are in good mental health in order to be married? Now I am curious about their marriage stats and divorce too. Have a blessed day.
