I found some sweet Love is....on line in color! Free images! I have downloaded many of my own collection but recently blogger has been giving me fits trying to upload images so I am taking the easy road today!
I also wanted to share this with you about childhood and parenting:
If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
~Diane Loomans, from "If I Had My Child To Raise Over Again"

Next stop by and visit Sally. As our fearless Blue Monday leader she has gone through some tough times with her health. We are glad she is back with us and on the mend nicely! Love you Sally!
I shot a few pictures with my camera phone this morning. The rec area where we walk/run is closed for repairs until September 6th so we have been going to the middle school and I walk the track while my hubby runs. I use to walk the straights and run the curves and visa versa. I may try to do that tomorrow. We try to go early but with the time fading quickly and the darkness still surrounding us at six a.m. I am not sure how many week days we can still head over there.
I love watching the clouds roll by and this morning they literally did. I shot this one because I thought it looked like a quilt! It is as close to crafty quilting as I can get! When I came back around the sky was totally different.
Enjoy!

What a great post! So much truth in the prose she wrote. Love the picture of the clouds. I love it when the clouds form pictures and change moment to moment. Hope you had a wonderful Sunday, Annie! xo Diana
Beautiful photo, Anne.
We call that type of clouds (little puffy ones in a crowd) "Rain Blossoms" which means you will have rain within 48 hrs.
I'm sure it's an old wives tale, but it's usually true.
Love the topic and that poem!
Those words are so true. I'll try to remember them with the grandchildren now. Looks like you all have a lovely place to walk. Great pic.
Great poem. A good reminder for me!
Love you Love is. I wish I could walk like that again, and I may some day, but running will never happen. Too scary when your butt bounces up and hits you in the back of the head.
Hugs- Tete
Great cloud photo!
It's amazing how we can look back and think of how many things we would have done differently if we had known then what we know now. What is it they say? Hind sight is 20/20? I wish I could go back and do a lot of things differently when my kids were growing up. They did turn out to be wonderful adults in spite of my shortcomings.
Blessings,
Charlotte
I see hope in that lovely sky!
Late visiting for BM, here's my Blue post. Have a great day!
Wonderful post and reminder for me to slow down with my children. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Misty
The photo is wonderful!
And, I really loved, "If I had a child again"......we live and learn, don't we?
Hi Anne, thanks for your visit. I love your sky shot. So different.
I too am so glad Sally is on the mend. She has been through so much.
The poem really hits home huh? Our children were raised in a loving but busy home. I do wish I took more time to enjoy them all. They would say I am silly but they grew up so fast and I miss those times. Thank you for sharing the poem Anne.
Happy days and blessings to you and yours.
xo, Jeanne
Good for you!! I could not even do one 6am work out!
