Blue Monday/ Love is.../Awww Monday

Nick and Noelle in their favorite t shirts. The oldest girl with her youngest brother. Nick headed back to school in Salina today and Noelle wore her favorite Dallas Cowboy shirt. It is navy blue.
My honey wearing his Kentucky Wildcat gear and looking into the sun! Look at that blue sky behind him! We have been Wildcat fans for a long, long time and we'd like to see them go all the way with March Madness. There are lots of great teams so you just never know!
My son-in-law works for this company so when I saw one of their port o potty's I had to share it. It is a lovely shade of turquoise blue!

I hope you will visit Sally and the Blue Crew today for some great Blue Monday shares.
My hubby might be my Romeo but this Juliet will be looking more like this in the early A.M. hours if I don't get some sleep! Goodnight all!

I am adding my selection to Awww Monday with Michael and Sandee and the nicest group of folks who share this fun Monday post! I enjoy playing with some of the best folks in blog land!
I choose this google image because at our church service yesterday, one of our pastors, Chad, always talks about his love of bacon! He shared this with us and I am sharing it with you today. A while back Chad was talking about the Prodigal Son returning home and reminding us how he was living amongst the pigs in a pig pen and saying that he was eating the food they were eating! Chad was kidding with us when he said that the Lord would never put him in a pig pen because he loves bacon too much! Yesterday he tied the message into having a well balanced breakfast and you can only imagine he showed us a plate of eggs, hash browns, toast and B A C O N ! Our church is a wonderful haven for those hurting and wanting to find out what it is all about. Chad also reminded us that our church is a front porch for prodigals and all are welcomed there!

Gosh, what gorgeous blue skies. It looks so warm and sunny there. Quite a bit different from here. I love your little "love is". I have to admit your Romeo is a cutie!

I'm just now getting caught up here again. Your Easter things are beautiful. I agree it is a happy holiday.

I know the sorrow you have felt. Seems like every time I think things are finally going alright, someone dear to me passes on. I feel for your Mom. Parents should not have to bury their children. I have and it leaves a huge sorrow in your heart.

My pastor taught me when I was quite young that He only gives us what we can handle. There are days when I don't understand that though. I suppose though that the pain and loss in ones life is part of what makes them what they are.

That brings me to the "love is" couple sitting in the ER. Gosh, now that surely does bring lots of memories.

It is still cold and wintery around here. I did find a few beautiful little green sprouts in small patches of ground where the snow has melted. They are just enough to keep me hoping that Spring will come to us too.

I cooked a hamburger for Pogo's supper tonight. Now his little belly is full and he is napping (and snoring lightly) next to me. It does not take much to please this fabulous little fellow. I am so blessed.

Now it's time to wash up the dishes and maybe watch a little TV. You have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Edna B.

Aha! ... I just saw "Anne" in Nicole's face! Seriously, how many photos have you shared with us and I'm just now seeing the resemblance?

I liked your minister's parable about the bacon. :)

Happy Blue Monday hello Anne. Your post is sweet and always full of family love. Nick and his sister look great and so does your hubby. We root for Kentucky if they aren't playing the Gators. HA! Bill's cousin lives in Kentucky.

Your minister sounds wonderful and I love your story about him and his love of bacon. Our minister is also a wonderful person and his sermons are amazing. When we can appreciate our church with love and a great minister, we are blessed.

Love, Jeanne

Our pastors are also teachers, I love the way the message is brought to us today. Love the bacon example. Well I bet your hubby is happy about Kentucky--I am so bummed that Kansas lost because we would have had the chance to play them in our bracket. Hope Nick is happy in Salina--let's get together for sure.

Thank you, Anne, for sharing. Family photos are the greatest. We need to go through Salina on our way to Nebraska and Iowa again to visit cousins. There is a Runza restaurant before Salina.
