Bev is having some technical difficulties so I decided to post Ten Things About Me here today.
1. I love Dr. Kevin Lehman and his books on the Birth Order. My kids think I favor their younger brother Nick. It just isn't true. He is the youngest and I was the youngest, so we relate to each other. Have you ever read the Birth Order books?
2. When I worked a full time job I had helped several people in difficult situations. They were people I knew nothing about and it gave me great joy to see a smile creep across their face.
3. A high school chum crashed my car in front of a funeral home and I never let another soul drive my car when I was a teen and young lady. Nope Never. Nada.
4. I was on a bowling league when I was in the 4th grade. I loved it, but to be fair, my mom was a great bowler. She loved Earl Anthony the pro bowler and I followed him because of my mom. He was left handed and we both were left handed too.
5. When I was small two of my older siblings teased me that I was adopted because I had blue eyes. Both of my grandmother's had blue eyes so I wondered, if anyone was adopted, it sure wasn't me. hahaha
6. Maybe you know this favorite fact about me but my father was a semi pro baseball player long before I was dreamed of. I miss him every day, I miss his knowledge of the game and I am very proud that I was his daughter.
7. I remember playing on the playground at my Catholic school when the nuns gathered us all and told us President John F. Kennedy had been shot and killed. I remember that day like it was yesterday.
8. I met two of the four Monkees when I was 13. My friend Bobbie, a California girl was visiting relatives in my hometown and we baked them a cake and took it to their hotel. We met Mike & Micky.
9. I love music and don't have a musical bone in my body! I have been to at least a dozen concerts from Edgar Winter, Led Zeppelin, John Denver & Loggins and Messina. I saw Barbara Mandrell with my oldest girl Noelle at the Colorado State Fair and we waited forever to get her autograph. I remember seeing Alabama with my sister there too and Charlie Pride.
10. I loved growing up in my neighborhood in BoJon Town where everyone knew each other and neighbors would correct us and we never had a care because we were so well loved.
I like to dress up our Thanksgiving Table too. Thanks to Dolly and Billy from The Family Circus. They have always made me smile and I enjoy these simple pleasures . The come from a time when life was simple and more people were kind.

You met two of the four Monkeys? Way cool.
Love the funny. The table does get dressed up.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and week. Love and hugs, Anne. ♥
Aw, your #2 warms my heart. Sincere customer service is so rare these days (that) when it happens, one remembers.
Squealing about meeting Mike and Mickey! I used to love the Monkees; Peter was probably my favorite, but I only had eyes for my h.s. flame, Gordon. That was sure a clever way to meet them; I wonder if it would work today?
Those were all good. Hey, back in the day our Dad's Uncle bowled against Earl Anthony when he was in town.
You always share things that are fun and fascinating.
I love a pretty dressed up table at Thanksgiving! Loved reading your 10 things about you! Good music choices:) Enjoy your evening dear friend, HUGS!
