I love this and needed to share it.So please stop Pink Saturday Someday's you have to just have some fun. I don't work anymore, but I still like to get dressed up when I head out to the grocery store or anywhere. When our children were small we taught them to value nice things. I use to sell Princess House and we taught them to use the hand blown crystal for everyday use. They loved drinking their juice or milk for a fluted stem. Life is short, so don't sell yourself short.

PINK SATURDAY
Maybe you have participated in Pink Saturday previously. Maybe you still do. It is always fun to see who is sharing their anything goes pinks! So visit Pink Saturday.
Get in the pink! Do something random and nice.
I love Kathy Van Zeeland. Her handbags are delightful. I own this one. She lines the inside of her handbags with fabric graced with tiny beehives. I love these pretty in pink purses. I found mine at the ARC Thrift store for $7.99. She handbags are pricey otherwise around $60-100.
I do love this hot pink Kathy Van Zeeland purse too but if you have any laying around instead of donating them to a thrift store, do this. Fill them with basic supplies for homeless women. Soap, toothbrush. toothpaste, wet wipes, feminine hygiene products. Stuff it with a few gift cards too. Denver gets mighty cold in the winter months so having a pocket full of gift cards for coffee and food and a place to sit and enjoy it away from the cold is a simple kindness. Next time you donate purses, remind yourself to do this instead.
My hubby has Saturday mail once a month. Last month we were entering his building which has a Starbucks on one side. We saw a homeless man putting cream and sugar in his coffee. Starbucks has had a bad image, calling the police on young black men waiting for a friend and needing the use the restroom. The CEO spouting out inappropriate things about conservative Americans etc. Apparently they have a new policy. If you have a gift card or cash and you are homeless, you are entitled to get out of the cold and enjoy a few minutes of warmth and hot coffee or tea. Instead of celebrities spewing hate about our president and again, the American conservatives, Take a real stand. Donate to those less fortunate trying to get back up on their feet. Help others right in your own cities and stop the H A T E ! Hate is what is truly wrecking us as a nation. Hate is worse than anything .
God loves each one of us. But it is up to us to love each other and celebrate our creator.

A New Day and Prayers for Our Country
A new day and a prayerful message to all Americans to cast your vote Tuesday. I steer clear of the controversy and submit to prayer. I trust God to lead us wherever we go. I will accept the decision after this election is over and know only one thing for sure, God is in total control. Nick and my hubby and I cast our vote and feel like we did what we had to.
Beverly hosts Pink Saturday each week. I thought she might like to see my Precious Moment girl sitting on a pretty pink doily and honoring her mom with some tea! She is called "Mom You Are My Special Tea". Sam Butcher is quite a talented artist and a wonderful Christian man. I have been collecting these little gems since 1983. I love tea so my tea time PM figurines are special to me.
This little girl even has a pink bow in her hair. She is a tiny figurine and I treasure her sweet little tea gift.
A friend was talking about the Halloween decorations she hated to take down as she loves the autumn and the theme with Halloween. I told her to exchange the Halloween things for some turkeys. You know the poor turkey, like the late comic Rodney Dangerfield, get no respect. I love Thanksgiving. It is a day to be grateful for all we have. This guy hangs on my front door. I am thinking of redoing the lettering in a different brighter color. Promote the turkey! Show him some respect!
I thought some humor was in order today! One of the grands, Devin told me, I never go out in public wearing sweatpants! He is a real character, I only go out in them before daylight as I rush the hubby to his bus, and yes, this is definitely me! I do love sweatshirts, the mornings have been downright cold!
Pink skies make me smile. Visit a Pinkie today.
This Scripture goes hand in hand with this comment:
Have a great weekend everyone! ENjoy and make some new memories and stay safe!

Day 9: Happy Birthday Nick/ My BoJon Heritage/ Birthday and Anniversary Wishes for Heaven
I loved this photo of Nick from middle school 2008. He has always loved sports so there are lots of photos sharing his love. He is 23 today! Happy birthday Nick! Celebrating with Noelle's bestie Crystal who turned 40 earlier this week. Crystal has a new home so we are watching the Bronco preseason game as well as the UFC fight too. We will have cake and pizza. Ah....such fun!
March 7, 2014 at the Amory in NYC watching Nick run indoor track. What an exciting time that was!

My sister Pat and her husband Gary would have been married 60 years on August 18, 2016. We lost both of them and I especially miss my sister. She was a wealth of information and wonderful ear to listen to you. She was a beautiful bride even though I was a tiny toddler back then. Miss her so much.
Auntie Ang would have celebrated her birthday on August 19th. She is the reason I exercised my strong will. She was strong willed too and we had so much fun always shopping and having lunch together. She is a gem and I miss her so much.
To Auntie Ang in heaven.
