Day One of our little anniversary getaway. Castle Rock, Colorado. Coming and going it was cool but a crisp beautiful day with blue skies.

Part of the Denver Skyline.  Thankful for blue skies and a little money for a fun filled anniversary weekend.

My sweetheart in front of the Mill Stop. A small hole in the wall Mexican place with excellent food and even better excellent phamily owned folks. This place has been around for several generations.

We will drive two hours to have this yummy food. They are closed on the weekends so this place is jumping all week long. They have an avocado and pork burrito. Oh My Goodness!

First time I forgot to take a photo of the train traveling through the I-25 corridor. We did see the train carrying hundreds of cars filled with coal though. Reminds me of my sweet friend Mike who passed away too soon. He was an engineer on the railroad and he left this life way too early. My uncle Louie worked for the railroad too. He traveled with Auntie Ang everywhere by train. Trains are, and always will be, my most favorite mode of transportation.

Thankful for all the goodness in my life.
