Wordless Wednesday

Last week my grandson Colton said he didn't think the baby girl was going to wait for another three weeks to come into this world.  If he were a betting man he could have been a millionaire! This Wordless Wednesday is not wordless! This is beautiful Miss Shea Avery Marie ! This five pound fifteen ounce girl made her debut last night at 11:20 P.M. She was in such a hurry to get here she said I am coming now and did not wait for the doctor to arrive. Rather she came quickly with nurses delivering this bundle of beautiful pinkness.  She is nineteen inches long and already a very good baby.
Life has been different lately. Then this happened. I think God wanted to spread some joy so He sent this baby girl.
The little phamily. As you know, during these times, only one phamily member can be present with you. So Harrison James is waiting patiently at home to meet his sister.  Alastor is watching them from paradise. God is good, He is very good.

Wordless Wednesday and More

Wordless Wednesday
Although we lost this gentle dapper gentleman in 2018 he would have a birthday April 29, 2001. Bandit was so loved and he was the phamily icon for pets as far as longevity goes. He was a rat terrier and he lived a very good life for a very long time. This is a favorite photo of him, in the prime of his life. He was kind and gentle but he had a ferocious bark that would scare you if you didn't know him. I know you are running free at the Rainbow Bridge Bandit so enjoy your birthday in all the glory.  "Dogs' lives are too short. Their only fault , really. " Agnes Sligh Turnbull
He loved his long naps as he grew older but a faithless friend was this fellow to Jeremy. He loved him unconditionally and that is hard to come by. The birthdays at the Rainbow Bridge are quite lovely, I am imagining. Canine and feline alike celebrating with each other while waiting for those they left behind.

CHECKING IN

Ah...baseball is over for another year.  Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the game. But the world Series win was bittersweet for me. I was rooting for the National's, The Astro's had been there before. The National's  used "Baby Shark" as their encouragement. Very bittersweet because baby Alastor did not like a lot of music but if you cranked up Baby Shark he gave you the biggest smile. I am happy for the outcome of the World Series 2019 and will always be saddened about the loss of our sweet great grand boy Alastor Avery.
Hannah and Jake. They left early SONday morning and headed back east. We have a love for Jake who adores our girl Hannah and they are a perfect match.  I had to use her FB photo to share here. I will share more of their story later.
You know I am no good at Wordless Wednesday but here's my favorite friend to wish you well. Happy Hump Day!
There is a bigger story behind the cake which I will share after this weekend. This was clever that Rebekah had this made. We miss our girl but love Jake so we are happy for their happiness together. We had a barbeque this weekend and lots of well wishers came to wish the couple well.
Some running humor, if my knees did not predict the cold weather coming I'd be on the road running too.
I love to share Scripture here.
Two weekend's ago  we were all on the road to Holly and Lamar. It was a wonderful trip with blessings abounding. I will write more later now that I am home and winding down from all the fun festivities.
