A Monday Evening Note

I am missing from here but trying to get my act together after the past several months. I decided to simply pray about the identity  theft. The DA office praised the thieve, she was only trying to care for her kids. Well, someone else still stole my identify repeatedly. They do not care so i choose to pray. I have been to many churches who help anyone out in a pinch. I have never had to give my name, address, income etc. We donate to food banks at churches. Now my name and address and only the Good Lord knows what else is out there. So I am here praying.

Avery is better since seeing the new Pulmonologist. Grateful he is well and will get continuity of care through this new doctor, who is a godsend.

I had tear ducts clogged. Still having some issues but that sweet young doctor who treated me was a sweetheart. She felt it was the cause of my stress from our precious grandboys and our son in that horrific accident. Once the boys are better and our son is isn't having to run into 100 different directions along with his wife taking care of everything, I think I will feel better too. I know they all will. It is hard to see those little boys hurting. Brody is so good caring for that broken right leg and Blake lets his mom clean that patched right eye. Lots of unknowns but prayer is working and we pray it will all work out for the good health of my sweet phamily.

Speaking of phamily, Hannah and Jake celebrated 5 years of marriage on the 24th. They went camping and enjoyed it. Lots of beautiful photos they shared. Than that darling boy turned 10 months old on the 26th and he decided time to crawl. Now the race is on. He is the cutest camping kid ever! Love that he loves their travels.

This girl has so much energy. These hot wheels are not as fast as they once were but she can make them go and she makes sure you know so you can watch her! She is "my brush my hair grandmother, buddy! " I wish more adults were like her. I remember how I loved brushing my own grandmother's hair for her as well as my Tata Rose. What memories.

Look at these smiles! Someone in the community knew Jarrett Stidham and reached out to him, as he is the Denver Bronco backup QB. Both he and Bo Nix, the starting QB and several other players signed this football for the boys.

Healing is a long process but with all the love, prayers, and simple acts of kindness have helped in the process of healing these two boys.

DECEMBER

Reminding me of the cold weather the Old Farmer's Almanac predicted for Colorado

The months are going by quickly. This year has been in a hurry to leave. When does time slow down? I think God created it all to zip past us. SO we need to stop, breathe and remember all the goodness we shared.

Hannah and Jake are expecting their baby boy this month too. I saved their event for this blog. So much joy in new babies. We pray for a healthy and happy one.

If you like comedy check out Lisa Gilbert. This girl married in her 40's and then had....triplets. Her comedy about her life is hilarious.  Triplets are something else. I know people with them and I admire their  stories of the good, the bad and the hilarious too.

Remember to read your bible starting with one chapter of Luke each day from Dec 1 to Dec 24 . You will read over the life of Jesus Christ. Then be prepared for His birth on the 25th. We do this each year.

"The people who walked in darkness,

have seen a great light;

those who dwelt in the land of  deep darkness,

on them has light shone." Isaiah 9:2

Anniversary Wishes

Happy Anniversary to Noelle and Roger. Twenty Two years and counting. They have had a wonderful life and a beautiful phamily. This year they are dealing with health issues and staying strong for each other.  Today we had breakfast with them at their favorite spot, the Bluebird Cafe. A locally owned restaurant. It was vandalized over the weekend last week. Everyone came out this week to support them. Rebekah and Zach joined us. It was quite a nice morning.

Smiling faces, pray for them as they journey through this evil cancer touching their lives. We wish them many more years of happiness and are grateful they belong to us.

I forgot to post our delicious food photos because we were so hungry we did not take any! I pulled my photo from a visit last year. I forgot to get included in these other photos. It was fun and good to relax and enjoy some loved ones.

More Health Issues

Our grandson informed everyone that Jacey was at urgent care, heading to a hospital to have her appendix removed.

We appreciate all your prayers and support for Nick and if you would pray for Jacey we would be so grateful. Also please pray for Andrea's husband, she commented to me at my blog that they believe her husband has prostrate cancer but the specialist is not returning their calls. Thank you.

When Satan attacks, we need to continue to glorify God. While we wait for Nick's results and he sees his specialist. While Jacey has surgery and heals and while our blogging friend Andrea's husband waits for results, we need to pray and continue to pray and pray harder.

Grateful for all of you and all your kindness and prayers.

Thank you.

When Life Throws Curve Balls At You and Beautiful Addy

Friday was a nothing goes right day! To be truthful, the whole week was the same way. You have to live it to understand it.  So being left handed by nature I went left. At least things are looking up. For the best things in life!

This is Addy our beautiful grand girl. When Jeremy and Brittany married we welcomed this young lady into our phamily. She is pretty, smart, kind and has the best manners. Two weeks ago her little brothers were under the weather feeling bad and she was being the trooper she always is. Helping out, getting her school work done and living her best life. We took these silly little cars to the boys and we gave Addy a small gift card. You know teens like to have their own spending cash and cards. No sooner had we walked in the door at home she sent us a text message thanking us. She has a big heart and it is so kind. My beautiful daughter-in-law Brittany is blessed to have this wonderful child. She is very close to her maternal grandparents and she is not afraid to show it. Jeremy loves this girl and they have a nice relationship.

Brittany sent me these amazing photos of Addy and her brothers. She has a friend Jessica who is a terrific photographer and she took all these photos.

I had planned to put these photos on my Grandparents Celebration post at FB. But after 6 days of posting and inviting other to join me I became very discouraged. No one posted any photos of their own grands. So I wrapped up the FB post on day 7 with the grandmother and myself and some of her great grands. I thought perhaps I Missed others posting previously and they did not want to repost again. So I told Brittany I was putting a post up with Addy. I can not leave out these handsome fellas. They facetime us and always crack us up. Handsome boys with a pretty big sister. We love that we live close to them too. They moved a little farther East but just a couple extra minutes.

This big dreamer is heading East later this year for a school trip. I think Boston will be an amazing part of her trip due to all the history. She will enjoy that trip. Thank you for letting me share this pretty teen with you today.

FRIDAY

We watched our two little grandsons today. After they left, we took a two hour nap.

Then we wnet out for some Mexican food at a favorite place. It was a great day mostly because Avery was able to take off the day and enjoy those boys with me. It is late and we are exhausted. A busy day. Had to wish a  Happy Heavenly Birthday to my mother-in-law Rita.

The years have flown by since you left us but we will never forget you. Pink Saturday I thought their photo here would be a perfect Pink Saturday addition.

I will be aroudn to comment tomorrow, God willing. We have so much going on , we have to buckle our belts for a few weeks so we get everything we need to taken csare of. Prayers welcome. Thank you.

Random Monday Thoughts

 Aw...Mondays....

I am very technically challenged but I want to share a sweet story here. I would love to share a photo but I respect the privacy of friends with young children.

My friend in Kansas has two little girls. The oldest one turned 4 this weekend. She is a real sweetheart. She told her great grandma recently that  Jesus died for us so one day we will all go to heaven and be with Him. She is a smart little lady and her mom telling this story made me smile. I love those young mom's and dad's teaching the little ones about all the important things. One day this world will fade away but eternity will be forever.

I was raised to know that same truth but often told to pray to saints. In the 2nd grade, I can remember thinking, I never had one prayer answered by a saint. I think I will go directly to Jesus. I figured He did die for all of us, so why shouldn't I just pray to him?

Everything good I know I Learned early on from my parents and from my teachers at school. I am grateful every day for the childhood I had. It is refreshing to see young mom's raising kids like this.

Amanda and Aaron are expecting natural triplets. They homeschool their kids, mostly Amanda, because Aaron has an outside job. But with Amanda on bedrest, he is able to work from home and their homeschool community pitches in to help with their five little ones and their homeschooling. Amanda says it best, if we don't teach our little ones about Jesus, the world won't. Amanda comes from a very large Catholic phamily and she is the most encouraging young mom. She has her hands and heart full of little ones, yet it is her favorite world to be in. She encourages everyone she knows because that is her way. Although she is unable to do much physical activity now, she makes sure to inspire and encourage those of us who know her at social media. If you knew Nancy, her mom, you would know where Amanda gets her spunk.

This painting is called "First Day in Heaven".

I have a prayer request, for Brenda and Steve. Brenda is one of the kindest people I know. She is always willing to help out and she is a nurse . She has that personality, what can I do to make you feel better? Help you in any way. They would appreciate prayers.

Always praying for Amanda and those triplet babies growing so quickly. If she does not go into labor on her own, they have already scheduled a C-Section. It is very exciting, because she will have a team of doctors. Having worked in the medical school and the hospital Admissions for many years, it was always exciting when there were multiple births. Not all surgical procedures have large teams of doctors and nurses but multiple births and Transplant patients do.  I learned so much about my own surgery that I had because I asked questions. If you don't take hold of your own health, someone may not see important issues you have. Always be alert and pay good attention.

The eye exam I had, was a blessing this year. That doctor was older and he knew all Opthamology good guys like E. Bruce Wilson who was a Neuro-Opthamologist.. When I had my first neurosurgery that guy tortured me by placing these metal clothespins on my eyelds to hold them open. He claimed he was checking my  peripheral vision. I said I think he shouldn't send me a bill because "torture" is not usually covered by health insurance! Although he is retired now, he was an excellent surgeon and all around good guy. My friend Sandy S. had an older sister who lost the vision in one of  her eyes. She would have lost the vision in her other eye except Dr. Wilson was there to help save her vision in one eye. He came highly recommended. They sure don't have doctors like him today.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy this new month. I am finding nuggets in each day to remind myself how important it is to take care of all the little things in life. They are usually the big things, and sometime we realize this too late.

Today was a prime example, people losing their minds over social media shut downs. If that made you pull out your hair, you aren;t going to like when worse things come along. So take a breath, stop watching 24 news coverage and remember what is truly important in your own lives.

Sparks for Annie who is taking a break.

Aw...Mondays

Stop by Sandee's and join Aw...Mondays. Some people need a good butting! HaHaHa!

It was a cool day today and we had some rain. But LOve is...makes me feel happy and warm all the time because it is so darn sweet.

Baby Blue Eyes with a smile.

The first pair of my new glasses. I was in my pj's until noon today with a backache. SO this is not my best photo. HaHa But girls with glasses are always smart and sassy.

Baby Blue Eyes is a Daddy's Girl. Aw.....she loves him and smiles the biggest smile when she hears his voice or sees his face.

So if you have never read the Birth Order by Dr. Kevin Lehman, please get a copy and read it ! It is one hundred percent true. The middle, who is her father's daughter, adores the man. I found this silliness and it is truth. Humor is worldwide medicine. It is good for the heart and the soul. Laughter is the best. Share some today.

I will share our trip to Lulu's Farm and Market tomorrow. We bought chilies and corn and are going back for pumpkins. The middle is a good daughter. She took some photos for us. You can not see my leggings but they have tiny footballs all over them. It is Fall and football season. I do love watching the young kids play as we set the NFL on the back burner. Lulu's have wonderful service and so much goodness. The middle bought a Bailey's Irish Cream Torte. Oh Lord, why must you make the good stuff so bad for us? The bad stuff is suppose to be good for us. I think you have it backward. I am sorry and I do apologize.

A sign of the times.

Sharing this for Annie even though she has been on hiatus.  I feel our world would be so much better if each and every person on the planet earth would make this mandatory in their own lives. Every one of us.  It is hard to do but it is so well worth it.

Sweet dreams all and I am still catching up from the weekend. Grands and company and work and play. I am thinking of each one of you dear hearts who left a comment. See you very soon.

SONday A Favorite Day

I miss the days when Charlotte hosted "Spiritual Sunday". It gave me something to look forward to each week. But today, since she gave up her blog, I can do it!

This is a google images of a garage filled with "stuff". We have a similar garage. We are currently spending most free weekends in this garage. We are dirty and tired by day's end so wish us well as we continue our clean up and downsizing of un-necessary stuff!

Our son-in-law Zach whipped up a batch of steak fajitas tonight. This is a google images of chicken fajitas. We are going to try something new. Next Saturday evening we will do "Fajita Saturday with all of our kids except Hannah and Jake. We are saw they are so far away but we will think of them as we enjoy our dinner. Colton and his little phamily will join us too. So I am excited to see how it works. We hope we can do a SONday brunch at least once a month during the winter time.

Ha Ha Ha - sometime the weird things people say and do in stores is mind blowing! When I was a kid people said Snitches get Stitches! Today you can earn rewards by being a Narc!  I had an exam on Friday. The gal working with doing my testing before I saw the doctor and the young doctor himself, were both super nice. You can not really do some tests with a face mask on. So they told me I could remove the bottom part from my mouth so I would not fog the glass the on the equipment. It was a very good experience and my glasses were three hundred dollars less then last year! I found the cutest pairs of bargain frames. Life was good plus I had lunch with my hubby and we enjoyed the rest of our day.

Ah....wise words from God's Word.

Aw....Mondays and More

Stop by Aw....Mondays and enjoy the funnies and more.
Goodnight kisses are the best. It was so cool last night and sleeping was so easy. I am ready for cooler weather just not going from 95 to -7! Love is....gives the best advice.
Humor is always good.
I do and I can't! LOL! Nancy M from Premier Design Jewelry always has some funny stuff to share.
From the first moment we all met him....to this:
Someone turned a whole year old yesterday! Little Brother celebrated with a Spaceship themed birthday bash. He even had his own special cake. Boy did he love the rocket!
So polite with that first bite!
Here is the little sweet phamily Jeremy and Brittany and the three kiddos.

He loved his special cake. That rocket intrigued him and he even tried to share it with others!
This sweet girl is a friend of the phamily and she was such a big helper. Love those red ringlets!
A cupcake for Big Brother.
The kids had a blast in the Spaceship Bouncy Castle. I bet lots of parents had a restful night's sleep after this fun day!
My parents were so beautiful together. The 29th was their wedding anniversary. I miss them both so much but never forget their special days. This was them when dad's sister married and they were the attendants. My cousin Jeannie says she thinks my mom's dress was lavender.

Uncle Louie and Auntie Annie were attendants for my mom and dad.
1978: Mother Cabrini Shrine,  Golden, Colorado. Walking up those 373 steps to the top of the shrine where a 22 foot high statue of Jesus stands. This was a happy trip with my folks. I am always hoping we will stop there soon . Before the cold weather sets in.  "Fortify me with the grace of your Holy Spirit and give your peace to my soul that I May be free from  all  needless anxiety and worry. Help me to desire always that which is pleasing  and acceptable to You so that Your will may be my will. Amen  This was a prayer for peace of mind. It was written by Frances Cabrini

My parents were Catholic and they were true to the Word of God. Today so many betray God by going along with the ways of this wicked world. It is quite sad. You can not love God and deny His words written in the Scriptures. It it  nice to remember the goodness and faithful servants my folks were.  I remembering trekking up those 373 steps with mom and dad. They felt invigorated when we reached the top! A friend had been visiting with me and she came along but refused to climb the stairs citing, I am not a Catholic! I think she would have enjoyed the view up there. But when you get something in your head you don't want to experience something unique and different.
