Happy Tuesday Tuesday Show & Tail and More

These beautiful horses were at google images. I love each one of them. They are so regal and very unique. They are perfect for Happy Tuesday  They are also perfect for Tuesday Show and Tail. I am hopeful Angela who hosted the original blog hop will take it up again.
I Just love this google image. When I was a little girl my grandmother's cousin, Mister Kralj had a beautiful horse. I may have talked about the two of them before, but I was skittish around animals that I did not know. My grandmother and I would walk to her cousin's house, up the hill and across the Arkansas River bridge to his place. He helped me overcome the fear of horses. I was able to fed that beauty a carrot stick and a cube of sugar. Then he let me help him brush that beautiful mane on his horse. It is a wonderful memory I will never forget.
Twitter isn't my favorite social media. Actually none of it is unless you agree with all the nastiness and hatred running over. If you aren't with the side that hates, you will be targeted and bullied and the use of foul language at Twitter is just too much for me. I think of Teresa who blogged at http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com/ which is now a private invitation only blog, said of social media, it is cutting and cruel .She was right. Meanwhile Maxine has a good point, the meaner they are the bigger complaints they seem to carry around.
Birds are happy and grateful. Have you noticed how they always have a song to sing?
Birds very have a care. Not one single care in the whole world.
This was so cute, I Had to share it.

Happy Tuesday and Tuesday Show and Tails and Maxine

Lulu Girl getting a new treat! These pups are hilarious. Loki was actually sitting on his so the others would not see it but I didn't have the camera handy! They are very selfish when it comes to treats. I can't blame them though. Lulu is perfect for my Tuesday show and tails memories.
Finally, some humor to make you smile out loud I hope! Happy Tuesday
31.

Or hear or see! Thanks Maxine. You made me smile today!

Pink ,Prayers and Birthday Fun

I think most American's today could use a good dose of this! So much going on in our world in general, and everyone wants their opinion, their cause, their voice to be heard. We never know what others are dealing with that we pass on the street, get angry with in our cars, so we all could use a good dose of humility, kindness and most of all love,

I bet most of you stopping here know Nana Diana. Her blog NanaDiana is filled with personal stories of her phamily and much love to her readers. One of her beautiful grand daughters is very ill, hospitalized and undergoing surgery and possibly more surgery Monday to find the reason for her pain. If you are a pray warrior please pray. stop by and visit her blog. Her phamily has been bombarded with illnesses, tragedy and so much sadness yet Diana always looks for the goodness in others. She is funny, kind, faithful. Please stop by and and hear her stories. Most of all, pray for Sweet Cheeks.
Humor is my favorite way to bring joy. when I was young I bough tons of cheap shoes. Today, I am not so young and buy only good shoes. But I seem to find room for one more pair.
Birthdays remind me God has granted me another day to use wisely. February is loaded with phamily birthday fun. Harrison turns 3, Brody 1 and Brody's mom Brittany is a February birthday girl along with her dad and two of her brothers. Whew! Lots of Celebrating. Our puppies turn 1 this month too. I have a sister-in-law, Joyce who is a February birthday girl.  My niece Kate's youngest will also turn 1. February is going to be filled with lots of laughter, gifts, cake and fun. Happy Birthday to all the February birthday boys and girls out there.
Cousins, sharing a bowl of Fruit Loops. How did these two get so big? They were babies just yesterday. This photo was taken over a 1 1/2 ago.
Brotherly Love. Big Brother, Baby Brother. How I love these  all these boys.

Some people who live in my house buy plants and kill them. I always had the very best luck with philodendron plants. I am trying my luck with a CHRISTmas Cactus. Wish me good planting! I had a friend who once trained an Ivy to grow up and around her high ceiling living room and draped down on either side. That is patience and some plant talent. But Maxine looks at dead plants in a different light.
More humor:

Humor: Makes a difficult day or week a little less stressful.
Think about this, in a humorous light.
Walt Disney was a brilliant man. I wonder what he would think about the way his dream unfolded into a billion dollar empire.
Snoopy always makes me feel happy.

Pink clouds. They remind me of childhood and pink cotton candy. That was a sugary sweet treat you were happy to get at carnivals and fairs and church bazaars .  This google image made me smile. I haven't stopped by Beverly's in a long while. Just wanted to stay in the pink and enjoy some fun. Enjoy the weekend.

Words to Ponder

This made me smile and laugh all together! I hope you stopped by Sandee's  and join the Aw....Mondays fun! do you remember the silly popular song from a few years ago, "I Like Big Butts And I Can Not Lie?" It was silly and I see where this photo got that idea for this caption. Rose is very friendly to Leo. He is a big dog and she is a small cat. She is picky about who her close friends are.

If we are lucky enough to see it, a blue moon will appear next on January 31,2018. I love these photos especially because after my mammogram today and lovely breakfast cooked up by the hubby, he took me to see the movie Hidden Figures. It is an excellent movie and I would see it if you haven't already. It is about the NASA Space Program and the African-American women who worked it in. Wow! All the math you need to send someone into space. It boggles my mind! I hope you will see this movie. I had hoped to stop by and say hello to Jeanne at Blue Monday but she is still without internet and it could be two months before they have it again! I will still share my blue moon and hope you mark your calendar for January 31, 2018.
Love is...sometime doing silly things together. Today we had frigid temps and a snowy morning. We almost did not make it out of our appointment parking lot. Everything in lots of older neighborhoods are up a hill and down a winding road. Not great for icy roads and cars slipping and sliding about! But we made it out alive and we are grateful!  So we came home and finished clearing our walks. The city wants them done by nine a.m. but while the snow was still falling, what is the point, seriously? We make the best of these cold and snowy days. I am very grateful all the kids got back and forth to their jobs without incident. At least the sun came up and melted lots of the street snow. Our driveway  start up that driveaway or slide back out on the street! Ah...the joys of snow and living your whole life in it!

Oh Maxine, you are crabby and yet you can make me laugh! Maxine, created by a gentleman, is something else!
Some favor words to share with you here.  Knowledge is power but if you have character you will earn respect.

Bruce Lee was a favorite of my hubby. He fought for Asians to have a voice in Hollywood and not be reduced to merely the hired help alongside the star of the T.V. series he starred in, The Green Hornet. He was so much more than just a martial arts expert. Many people do not know very much about him. It is sad he passed away so young. My hubby still has his Jeet Kun Do book about the martial arts he founded.  He was very talented. What a great loss .
Our country needs to stop the hatefulness and come together and make our nation great again. This says it best.

B is for Being Silly and Other Beautiful words Beginning with B

Somehow I get on a silly kick and had to share this t shirt with you. It just makes me smile. I laugh out loud and love the words written here. Are you nerdy?
You know Maine has an opinion on everything! While I am being silly here is a great running quote:

Who doesn't agree with me?

I think "B" for Baseball is the best! I love this quote. I love baseball, the Colorado Rockies are not the best in baseball though.

B is also for boys and I have two of them! Nick will be home Friday, by the grace of God, for the wedding! Storms everywhere  east of us and we hear snow for Jeremy and Brittany's wedding on Saturday!

Auntie Ang never had children of her own but she and Uncle Louie loved all the little ones. Jeremy was just a tiny baby here with Noelle too.
Jeremy likes to wear sports hats today but when he was very small he liked fancy men's hats! This one belonged to Uncle Louie.
Jeremy was a good student when he attended Holy Family HS. Many teachers in his younger years always said he would become a good student if he worked harder.  All though high school and college he did just that! He graduated high school in 2003. This is ten years later:
Always smiling and boy oh boy is he smiling now. On Saturday he will be marrying Brittany. They go together beautifully. It is a good thing when one person compliments another. Here is a Scripture I hope they will mediate on:
This verse is written on my parents marriage certificate. These are wise words and I hope Jeremy and Brittany will think so too!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. 10 For if [a]either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not [b]another to lift him up.11 Furthermore, if two lie down together they [c]keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if [d]one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
I will come back tomorrow and tell more stories about Jeremy. The day got away from me and I got a headache too. Just some stressful days leading up to the big day. Lots of things to do. Please visit Jenny and everyone at Warm Heart Wednesday too. Did I mention, weddings warm my heart?

Warm Heart Wednesday/Maxine Cracks Me Up/Blue Monday Comeback/

This is the very best warm heart Wednesday I can think of! The kids came to visit today. Jacey had been sick and was told by a doctor to give the baby formula while she took an antibiotic. Poor Harrison, he was miserable, not  able to handle that formula  well and hurt his tummy. Look how content he is with his mommy. There is nothing like a sweet baby to make your world happy.
Please visit Jenny and Warm Heart Wednesday so you can share your favorite moments too.
Maxine always says it best! I worked long and hard for 42 years. I do not regret having to take an early retirement. Life is too short and there is more to it than money.
This chippy old chair was a big seller at etsy a while back. The google image seemed perfect to remind everyone that one of our favorite blogging friends Jeanne will start hosting Blue Monday. Jeanne and Sally were very dear friends so is seems perfect that Jeanne will take over. Make sure you visit and share some blue and wish Jeanne well. Thank you Jeanne for carrying on Sally's blues.
