Aw...Mondays and Love is....

Aw...Mondays This sloth has a great smile. I thought it was a perfect Monday share. I put two posts on on my other blog and forgot to release it as well as this one. Just one of those days. But this smile made me happy so I liked that.

This face is priceless. I love the look. I wonder what this little one was thinking of?

This is one of my very favorite Love is.... It is good to have someone who understands you and works together with you.

In moving slow he knows no Peer.

You ask him something in his ear;

He thinks about it for a year.

And then before he sayd a word

There, upside down (unlike a bird),

He will assume that you have heard-

A most Ex-as-per-at-ing  Lug.

But should you call his manner Smug,

He'll sigh and give his branch a Hug.

Then off again to sleep he goes,

Still swaying gently by his toes,

And you just know he knows he knows.

Aw....Mondays and More

Aw...Mondays

Here are two of the birthday boys for the month of August. Jeremy and his son Blake. Jeremy turns 3-6 on Monday August 9th. Blake will turn 2 on the 31st. Avery and Jeremy are two of Blake's favorite people. But let's chat about my number one son:

Jeremy Edward was born in the early morning hours of August 9th 36 years ago. The first born son. He already had a big sister. She loved having him as a baby brother.

Jeremy hadn"t worked at his first "real world: office job very long when he won the Excellence Award. He spent a wonderful trip in San Diego at the famed Hotel del Coronado . After he won that trip his life when from good to great. He married Brittany in 2016 and today they have a new home and three kids and a very nice life.

He has worked very hard and started working at the tender age of 14 helping a neighbor, who was a Grease Monkey manager sweep the floors and help out in the shop. He worked there for a few years and switched to Domino's Pizza where he delivered pizzas for his college years and eventually worked with his younger brother Nick, also an August baby. Jeremy delivered the pizzas Nick made. They made a good team. They both work for the same company today, only in different departments.

Addy, Blake and Brody. Jeremy is a great dad, he embraces it with love and laughter and sometime sheer dog tired determination.

Who doesn't want a cool DQ ice cream for their birthday? Brittany had this made for Jeremy and we enjoyed a nice evening with them last night.  Very proud of who our son has become and I wish him the happiest of birthdays and many more ot come.

Love is..wishes Jeremy a happy birthday too, These little comic strip characters have always given me great joy. This one is for Jeremy and Brittany on his birthday.

Aw....Mondays, Love is.... and My Missing Friendly Fill In's

Welcome to August with this cool cat. Please visit Aw...Mondays

Love is...has always brought a smile to my face.  This is no different. Enjoy your new week.

I forgot to post my fill in answers so here they are a bit late:

1. Only someone with a migraine headache would understand the pain.

2. I just spent a wonderful weekend with our kids and grands. Great Grands too! It was fun.

3. I find it hard to believe that another month flew by.

4. I should probably save more money because it seems times are going to get more difficult.

Thank you Ellen and Lorianne for sharing the questions each week and thank you both for your creativity making up new lists each week.

Enjoy the new month and come back soon.

 Aw....Mondays

Handsome boys with fresh haircuts. They are such good friends and growing up together , they will have lots of memories to share.

Love is....always has the right thing to say.

Charles Schultz creation of characters were each taken from his own life.  I like me. I Like to be me. I don't think I Need to change for anyone on this earth. I think it woulf be terribly sad to be exactly everyone else. Plus Pig Pen was messy and sometimes I am a mess.

Monday is here once again. Don't be sad just dance!

Aw...Mondays and More

 Aw...Mondays

I know a woman like this feline is talking about. Not everyone is a cat or dog lover but those of us who are, just leave us be please!

Love is...always has the right words to say. Avery and I do have the same sense of humor. His just gets up earlier each morning while mine prefers to sleep in a bit later.

Tomorrow we are taking a little trip to a lake where Hannah, Jake and Rebekah will kayak and Avery and I will lounge at the shore. Tuesday we are having Pasta Night at Jeremy and Brittany's house. Avery will make his famous goulash and also bleu cheese dressing. I am anxiosu to see what else everyone is bringing. Hannah and Jake have dinner plans Wednesday but Thursday we may do another dinner here. Friday they will leave to go home again. Always sad for me.

I am going to find more photos from the party to post.I have to talk with Hannah and Rebekah as Noelle sent over some of her's that I posted. It feels strange to post without many photos.

Sleep well.

Happy Fourth of July

Fireworks view from our yard. It was a wonderful July 4, 2021. I did not get too many photos as the wifi was wacky, everyone everywhere on it so the service was not great.

Fireworks from the top of the world.

Jeremy, Frabklin and Avery. It was a great day. Zach made us ribs for dinner and he slow smoked them all day long. Sigh... I need some photos of those.

A firecracker for the Fourth of July.

We had the best of times with all those kids who were able to be here with us. More fun next weekend for Hannah's big birthday bash.

The reason we have lasted as long as we have had this nation.

Love is...agrees with me today!

Sweet dreams until next time. Love and Hugs and Many Thanks to all who stop by. I am still making my way around comments. Thank you.

SONday SONday

Because of Jessia Marie Baker , please be kind. This beautiful woman graced this earth for a short 46 years. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, friend. She cared for each person she met. She had a personality so big you would burst with joy when you met her. Yet, privately, her life was touched with much sadness. Yet she made everything worthwhile. I am going to do a reminder of her attitude of positive love, kindness and caring. This Wednesday, June 16th, her phamily and friends will gather at noon, at a local park to blow bubbles. Jessica loved bubbles. I have blown bubbles all my life. When I had to go to the USPS the years I did my own businesses like Princess House, Avon, MaryKay, House of Lloyd, Premier Design Jewelry, I often sat in my car waiting for the lines to subside and I would blow bubbles out of my car window. I received more smiles than anything else.

I was saving Brody in the bubbles for a Wordless Wednesday...but I started to think of Jessica and what a kick she would get out of this child. So this is for Jessica, kindness, happiness, love and joy rolled up in a busy boy with a contagious laugh! Life is fleeting, enjoy the bubbles!

Although this is just a meme, Rebekah Michelle was the 3 A.M. baby who waited from 10 A.M. to 3 A.M. the next morning to be born.  Today she celebrates 33 years of life.

Loves loves driving in the car. Even as a baby, although too young to get behind that wheel, she loved the jingle of car keys. She has traveled by her herself to lots of places, the farthest being Ireland in 2016.

She is a cutie. Today her husband came upstair clean shaved! We were all shocked, but as a birthday gift to h er, he shaved his beard. He has beautiful natural curly hair and he wears it longer.  So he shaved off that beard. She was tickled!

Tonight she will enjoy a Tres Leche Cake with carmel for her birthday. She always has a fun cake. Happy Birthday to Rebekah my "Tillie Girl".

This car, a 1953 Corvette was introduced the year I was born. Today Jeremy took his phamily, minus Blake (he stayed with us) to a car show. He sent me this photo:

Oh that is a beautiful car! Sigh.............

I will share more car photos throught this week. I am trying so hard to get back into blogging. It has been so difficult with Sharon and Jessica on my mind.

Say hello to Aw...Mondays

PHAMILY BUSINESS : I AM BACK IN MY BLOG BUSINESS

I know many of you so graciously stop by and leave your comments knew I was under the weather with food poisoning.  It was awful but I am much better and we just spent an entire 8 days with Hannah and Jake. Our baby girl and her hubby came here for Mother's Day. They drove 22 hours in their RV and we enjoyed wonderful memory making moments with them. If my father were in this world still, he would be so very proud of me. He always told me, don't invite anyone to your home unless you can offer them a cold or hot beverage or a meal.  My older middle brother Ed came to our home years ago, peeked inside our pantry and said, "you are our mother's daughter!"

Our first born girl Noelle and I on Mother's Day 2021. Jeremy, our first born son and his beautiful wife Brittany hosted a brunch in their new home. We were all together except our son-in-law Zach (Rebekah's hubby) who spent his day with his mom. He is a good man.  We had so much food, bacon and eggs, bagels, toast, stuffed French Toast and Cracker Barrel style cheesy hash brown with and without ham.   We had Rebekah's famous pasta salad and lots of great memories. Rebekah created a "MOMosa" Bar.  We ate, drank yummy drinks and enjoyed the company of some of  our grands and two of our great grands.

Those of you who know "the Mean Mugger" a/k/a Shea Shea or formally known as Shea Avery Marie . You know she is her own person. This lil lady turns 1 in three days. She is a fashion diva but set a long and steep staircase in front of her and she will scurry as fast as those chubby legs will carry her up the stairs. She knows no fear, smiles the biggest and brightest smiles she can make and she will mean mug you if she is not interested in you telling her the dirty word " N O "! She loves big brother Harrison but she is the spitting image of her "Angel" brother Alastor Avery. She is a daddy's girl and will steal your heart. Our grand boy Brody loves this child and he is not afraid to tell the whole world!

Hannah and Harrison spent a quiet moment while Brody looked on. What a terrific day we had. I kept thinking how proud my folks would have been to see us all together. A joyful day. Filled with blessings and good moments.

This big brother jumped off a cliff into the deep water in Mexico where he vacationed with his granmmies Lisa and Carolyn. Fearless and kind he is showing Duke, Jeremy and Brittany's pup some love on those long stairs up to the second level of their new home. Sharing with Aw...Mondays

Anyone who knows me well knows I do not go along with the wicked ways of this ole world. I am not going to be political.  I steer away from social media for that very reason but I found this quiz. It is generalized but my lifelong friend Carole (another good BoJon girl) shared this one having just lost her mom in late 2020. I took the quiz and came up with this answer. It was perfect. My parents demanded respect from all of us. My father was the kindest, most quiet, wonderful man. He worked 47 years in the CF and I Steeel Corp. But he made sure we were respectful and kind to all we encoutered. So unless you were raised without regard for others, you should have a common, basic courtesy of being a decent human being around others. Having attended Catholic school from k to 11 I made sure to mind. No one ever wanted to be in the path of Sister of Beatrice or Sister Zavier while they were swinging their yardstick! Worse yet, the metal edged ruler. Yet none of us ever had the desire to harm anyone else or commit a crime. I am extremely grateful for the education I had in parochial and Catholic high school. My parents had hardsghips of their own yet they never complained and made sure we were raised with faith in God, respect for others and kindness in our hearts.

Rebekah set up a Momosa sign at the brunch. We enjoyed champagne with different juices and fresh fruit and it was wonderful.

Rebekah had this made for me, a cupcake bouquet but she made sure the fellas had some chocolate cupcakes of their own. She is a good daughter, wife and general all around kind soul. She and Zach gifted me with two beautiful floral bouquests. Once my photos are organized, I will post more of the fun and wonderul gifts I received.

Rebekah and Hannah made freckle faces on Mother's Day 2021 on the way to Jeremy & Brittany's.

Noelle, Jeremy, Avery, myself, Rebekah, Nick and Hannah. This was us, Mother's Day 2021.

Avery Bear never tells a fib. He tells it exactly the way it is. We are loud and wacky and silly. We love to laugh, we crack jokes, we have fun and we love each other with every fiber of our being. I am guessing it is the BoJon and Irish mixed up blood the kids have.

I will end here and be back with more Mother's Day stories and photos. I am going to head over to  My Tata's Cottage too.  I will be sharing more stories there. Have a beautiful day and an  incredibly wonderful week and be kind.  This is a perfect share for Sparks

Love is...makes me smile when I think of all the time I was laid up from my neurosurgery, not once or twice but three times.  Anytime I am under the weather, there is Avery caring for me, like the sweet and kind man that he is. I love him and thank him for being so amazing.  Have a blessed and beautiful week everyone.
