A Collection of Favorites

 I am not a camper, my honey is not a camper. We are more five star hotel with room service kinda campers! But this Love is...is so sweet and thoughtful! I wanted to share it since my honey and I are going on a little phamily getaway with the kids. Remember the house in the mountains? We are going to head up there soon and spend a few glorious days just hanging out!

Some favorite Scripture even has touches of mountains and blues. The Book of James was correct in letting us know that when we lack wisdom we should consult God and He will give wisdom to us! This second verse really hits home regarding the state of our world and the fact that as Americans I believe we will be tested sooner than we think! Trust God and Pray. Are We In Kansas Yet?

I always loved Dorothy's sweet blue and white checkered dress! She looks so demure and sweet in the Wizard of Oz movie! Set in Kansas of course!
Now this is a tough one for me! Since we are heading to Kansas this weekend to take Nick on a tour of the Kansas Wesleyan University at Salina, Kansas I thought I would share some Kansas favorites!
We are Kentucky Wildcat fans! Basketball all the way with the Wildcats! Hey, they are blue and white too! Hee Hee! So let me share the Kansaa Jayhawks and the Kentucky Wildcats with you!

At our house we have to act as a team! Everyone pitching in and helping each other. Tonight we sent Hannah to the mall with Jeremy. He starts his student teaching tomorrow and he does not have the wardrobe to pull it off! So mom and dad sent him to buy a few new things to get through these next five months. Pray for him. He can always use the extra help!

We spent the last few weeks getting our cars in tip top shape! We will be driving to Kansas this weekend so pray for good weather! So now I need to get back into my blog and get busy catching up with everyone.

Love is... and A Very Blue Monday !.

I am having some tough times trying to load photos so I am using lots of images I find on google. I will resolve this problem! My sons friend Ivan always helps me out but he just found out he is going to be a dad and so he has not been around lately!

Ha Ha Ha! No one wants to do the dishes! We have a lovely dishwasher but there is always something fun to do after a great meal besides washing those dishes. I have one of those wonderful husbands who will help me out! The doctor I work suggested that his wife fore go the fancy china and use paper plates for Thanksgiving! You guessed it? He is the dishwasher! LOL! Imagine that, a medical doctor with a duel practice (ENT and Plastics) having to wash dishes with his brother the Engineer!

My Sweets has always helped out. My middle brother, also an engineer is a dishwasher too!

Bule Monday/ Love is...

My Love is....portraits my Sweets today!  He always cleans the tub until it shines! CLR that is our secret. My mixer beaters got rusty because someone tossed them in the dishwasher and they were probably put away wet! So they soaked all morning and the rust is gone! That CLR works like a charm and they are not paying me to tell you that! My middle daughters old beau gave me that tip. A big bottle of it lasts a long time! You can even clean your coffeemaker with it!
