Happy Tuesday and More

Happy Tuesday celebrating all animals today! Animals have a way of bringing happy smiles to sad faces. I know many of you love cats best of all, others dogs, some of us love them both and others yet have other favorites, horses, rabbits, goats, chickens, the list is endless.

Did you know chickens and pigs are not suseptible to the virus we are dealing with? I Just wanted to share that fact.

Horses have a sense that helps the hurting. They have a built in kind of radar that gives them extra kindness to those in need of it.

Cats are owned by NO ONE! They are independent and ornery as a one year old toddler. They just do their own thing.

Dogs are loyal. They are true to their owner although many feel they are not owned but many people feel they owe dogs their good mental health. I think cats have this special power too.

I know chicken owners who are on a personal first name basis with their chickens, particularly the laying hens. No one has much to say about roosters. They have some tendencies to bully others.

Where I live, in a suburb, you can raise chickens and you can raise honey bees. Many people raise chickens and always have a supply of fresh eggs.

We can always reminisce about Tuesday Show and Tails from years gone by. Many bloggers have left in favor of social media sites and others stopped for personal reasons and some have passed away. I really miss the early days of blogging. It was fun visiting and commenting and enjoying so many different styles and themes that different bloggers had.

Maxine has opinions about everything and she is usually right on. that dog always looks so confused.

Dr. Seuss would celebrate his 117th birthday on March 2, 2021. He has been an endearing figure to many of us throughout the years . I don't get into the ridiculous tirades of attacking such beloved characters. Nothing is sacred in today's world. But for me, I wish Dr. Seuess a Happy 117th Birthday and wish I could personally thank him for him for the books he wrote. They are timeless classics and will forever be held near and dear to me. Reading should be part of everyone's life.  Love Dr. Seuss for all the laughter and poems and joyful moments he gave us.

Happy Tuesday

 Happy Tuesday

It is a huge milestone. Ella is out of the NICU ICU and into the regular NICU so she can begin to learn to be a baby. She is 3 lbs. 1 oz. We are estatic. She is adorable too. Keep those prayers coming.

These two brothers, Loki and Thor have a birthday coming up February 12th. They will be 3 years old. They fit into Happy Tuesday and Tuesday and Show Tails.  My girl Lulu will turn 3 on February 23rd. They are such happy tails.

Oh Maxine, I so agree with you! This winter has been so blasted cold but not with very much snow. I do love the snow as long as I can watch it from the inside. It is interesting, other areas of our country that do not normally get snow are getting hammered. Our daughter in Western NY has already seen two major snowstorms that left plenty of snow in their path.

Tuesday Show & Tails and Happy Tuesday

Miss Piper is on the way to becoming a fine canine phamily member to Roger & Noelle. ALthough she loves chewing through anything she can find, she is learning. She is so darn cute it is hard to be mad at a girl llike this. She loves to run in her backyard and she loves playing with her toys. I wanted to share her because she makes me smile and makes me happy. She is a perfect fit for Happy Tuesday She is also a good example of the days of Tuesday Show and Tails.

Oh Maxine, you are the funniest! I wonder what her bumper sticker says? I can only imagine.

Nick is thinking he will be able to return to work in his home office on Tuesday the 12th. Tarrah and Ella are still at the hospital. Tarrah had a second round of medication and more dialysis for her kidneys. Ella lost2 oz. and has a long way to go but mom and daughter are strong and such warrior princesses . Prayers are so good and we are all grateful.

Today was a better day. I think tomorrow will be too. Thanks for sticking by me and I am slowly making the rounds to see you all and comment. It is so important to me and I am so far behind. Hope you are all having a good new year five days into it. Stay happy, healthy and enjoy each day. There is much to be thankful for.

Before I sign off, the folks who have sent postcards, I am going to do something nice for each one of you. I understand some folks can not get out or there is no place selling postcards and that is ok. But I thought if anyone would like to exchange Christmas cards, please e mail me your info and if you want mine I will return the favor. Spreading cheer, not panic is my motto. Hoping everyone has a beautiful and blessed day.

I received a short note from Karl, a/k/a Iggy. He is taking things one day at a time and having a real hard time with his health. Those of you who know him and wish to send him a Christmas card please do it. He needs some extra cheer this year.
