FIRST MONDAY OF NOVEMBER

I took this photo a few years ago with a wide lens because the momma goose was not a happy camper as I scampered by her brood. They are sure silly looking. Stop by Sandee's and say Aw....Mondays.
Here is a pinterest find and a black and white kitten in black and white. Everyone at Face Book was passing around doing a b/w photo, no people, no words. Not my style, laugh out loud, but I will share this sweetheart here too. Show this to Sandee and stop by for more Aw....fun !
Stop by Blue Monday and shares your blue today. It is really a blue Monday, cold and dreary. But I am busy indoors so I don't mind. Plus I have some yummy coconut Thai Chai tea. I'm happy today.

I am loving this tea. I don''t do a lot of caffeine. This is perfect and I like to make it with skim milk.
My hubby works so hard! He will be at his office today until nine o'clock tonight. He has a co worker that never uses her time off so unless she does by Dec 31 she will lose a ton of hours. He and Tony split the hours and the overtime is so helpful. Everyone at his office was making red or green chili today so he will not go hungry. He made a batch last night and put it in the crock pot to keep warm all day long. Love the newer settings on crock pots with the added "warming" setting, Love is...always makes me smile.
Ha Ha Ha! Ooh Maxine, your a bad influence. I found a bag of Mint Hershey's kisses. Must hide those from myself.
Sadness in our world. I keep trusting in my Savior. My favorite Target cashier lost her son, that she was shopping with, at the Thornton, Co. shooting on Halloween. he was 26 years old and the father of two with one on the way. Many shoppers were trapped inside the store. Their fire doors have an automatic 30 second timer on them to stop shoplifters. Merchandise, not lives is more important to billionaireWal-mart. Very tragic. I believe in 100 percent #nonotoriety  for these shooters, which shows me main stream media loves a good story nothing more. If they cared one bit about victims they would never show the shooters face. Nick's BFF made our local and national news. He is a young cop in our town and seeing him on T.V. sent chills down my spine. He is like my own child. Prayers please for all.
I miss the simplicity of life. Today it is so complicated and the more demands I see, the more tragedy seems to follow.
Thinking of my mom and dad today. Rebekah and Zach will be married Dec 2. Time is going by quickly. My mom's 16 year anniversary will be Nov 16. A bittersweet day for me. She was my lifeline when I needed to talk.
My mom was a woman of wisdom, she always told me, when life gets hard, pray harder. Have a beautiful day.
A surprise will be on the way to Diane once she sends me her mailing address. I will draw the other two winners before the end of next week. Congrats Diane! she was the first winner in my blog giveaway with Tea/Coffe favorites.

Monday Monday

How did Monday roll around so quicky? It seems the days are flying by. I hope you will visit Sandee and say Aw...Mondays to everyone who shares their fun here.

Isn't this 1939 Paragon Blue Hydrangea tea cup and saucer perfect? I love beautiful teacups so I wanted to share this one for Blue Monday. Come join the fun today.
I have never been a great tennis player, in fact, I love to hit the ball like I would a baseball. It doesn't make for a great game or a pleasant partner! But this Love is...is just perfect.
I haven't been a fan of a U.S, President for my adult life except for Gerald Ford, who passed a law which gave single mothers the right to add their children to their health insurance benefits. Maxine makes a valid point here. We seem to go to one extreme and then the other. Oh Maxine, you and your opinions.
This is my childhood school, Saint Mary's Catholic School. It was built in 1923 with bricks from the smokestack of the defunct Colorado Smelter.  My grandpa Joe worked there for many years. I had many happy memories at this school and still keep in touch with so many of my former classmates. Today it houses a library and has information regarding our sLOVEnian heritage. It is on the edge of BoJon Town .
On the other side of the school is the parish priests home and then the church.

I believe this is the prayer garden and today the church is known as Saint Mary Help of Christian Church.
I love catching and collecting photos of churches and this Old Testament verse seems so fitting for teaching the little ones today. My friend Maureen says we need to teach the little ones abut Jesus.
This is a tiny sneak peek of the beautiful tea cup I received from Brenda J. in Marietta, Georgia. She gifted me this lovely cup as she was choose to select a tea cup for me in Stephanie's Tea Cup/Tea Mug Exchange. I want to remind everyone to please leave a message and answer the simple questions to be entered in my own Tea Tyme Giveaway which will end October 31. We will draw the names of the three winners on November 1. Please follow me and answer these questions, do you love tea and/or coffee and what is your favorite? What is your favorite color? Do you love chocolate and what is your favorite kind? This is limited to the USA only, I am sorry to say. I wish I could send a gift to everyone who has become a friend here. Seeing everyone leave comments always makes my day If you do not have a blog, send me your address via my e mail. Any questions, just let me know and have a wonderful week.

Aw...Mondays and Blue Monday Fun

Here is a Karaoke Kitty for you on Aw...Mondays . I hope you stop by and say hello to Sandee.
The last movie we saw had this Blue Smurf in the lobby. Stop by and say hello to everyone at Blue Monday. Our oldest daughter Noelle had the largest Smurf collection ever! They were popular when she was small and now they have made a comeback and have had some movies including a brand new one! Do you like little blue smurfs?
Love is...making me think of fresh bread. I have a bread maker and I do not think the bread will make itself so....

s is a great letter. The karaoke kitty is silly and there is a fun S word. How about Smurf, you know the little blue creatures? Sweet is a good s word for Sweet Love is...shares and there it is again! S is for share or sharing. So many words that start with the letter S.

A favorite grandgirl Christal and her sweet hubby Alex. They were baptized this weekend in the Catholic church and on Easter SONday  they were married in their church. Their three children were also baptized and I admire these parents so much. They attend church with their kids each week and they had a lovely wedding. Here is a collage of photos Noelle put together. we had a wonderful time.

Christal is so crafty and she created these sweet centerpieces  for the reception tables and inside those sweet boxes were mini heart shaped cookies. She is a special young woman and I love her so much. Alex too, he loves baseball and who doesn't love America's favorite sport?
Hope your Easter was a beautiful day too.

Day 7: Aw....Monday/Blue Monday/Love is.../Maxine Cracks Me Up/My BoJon Heritage/

Yesterday we went to see the movie The Secret Life of Pets with Noelle and Roger and two of the grand boys Devin and Jayden. If you have the opportunity to see this cute movie please do. It made us laugh out loud.
A cast of silly, silly pets.
Max and
Duke the brothers! Hee Hee Hee!
Snowball is a bad, bad, bunny! Look at the wild look in his eyes!
Gidget has a "thing" for Max!
Chloe is....well.....she is a cat! Enough said! Visit Sandee at Aw...Monday. These pets gave me an Aw.....moment!
Happy Blue Monday to Jeanne and all the Blue Crew! This pinterest find highlighted in blue and pink made me smile.  I do 1-2-3-7-8-9-10-13-15-16-17-18-20-21-22-23-24-25! I am trying to be g=get better at eating more healthy things. I love bread and dessert so those two things really have to get cut back. I do some yoga and exercise but I have not been consistent so I can not tell a fib. I am working on it. I thought this would be a good blue list to post today.
This is good advice, plain and simple. I have had so many problems with my allergies this season. I went from Winter to Spring to Summer and nothing has changed. Somedays I get so aggravated. I am going to frame this quote.
I need to go over this list and try to answer these questions. I thought some thoughtful fun was in order for Blue Monday today.
I always keep honey on hand. This Love is...is too sweet not to share.

I am not a meanie like Maxine but these kicky boots are sure cute. You have to admit, Maxine is quite clever.

My dad's folks celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 22, 1955. that was an awesome achievement. My goodness they suffered so much and prevailed and kept their marriage strong. My grandmother was not well so much of her life and yet there was Grandpa caring for her as if she were some rare jewel. Their love was something to see and I wo't soon forget it. I don't have many good photos of them and hoping someone comes forward with some to share. One of these days I will sit down and figure out how many grandchildren and great grandchildren they had. My grandfather was a very kind heart and I will always have a very special place in my heart for him. He passed away when I was in the 7th grade but I never forgot the many conversations I had with him. Like my father, he was easy, like Sunday morning.  Those are words to a song and they fit both my grandfather and my dad's personalities to a T. I hope you stop by again very soon. I have fallen behind with commenting but I will be visiting you very soon. Thank you for supporting me here.

Aw...Monday Blue Monday Love is... "S" is for....SONday skies

This google image from APlacetoLoveDogs.com reminds me of the hot days we have had. Keep your pets safe and cool by keeping them indoors. I am appalled at people leaving dogs in cars to run a quick errand. Their body temperature is about 20 degrees higher than the temp outdoors. It is 92 here right now at 4:32 P.M. and I would not let any of our pets stay in a hot car for one minute. These two look like they have had enough of the indoor heat!
This sweet google image made me smile. It is true, no bad days when you have these kinds of furry friends waiting for you. Tell Sandee at Aw...Monday that you stopped by to say hello.
We had a great Father's Day dinner last week at the Olive Garden. It is always a great time.  My hubby wore his Kentucky blue Wildcat hat and his blue and orange Bronco tie dyed shirt. It was a good evening.

The cliffs of Mohre. Rebekah took her trip to Ireland in April and had a wonderful time.
Rebekah loves searching for waterfalls. This one was from their camping trip 2015.
Colorado camping 2015. I am not an outdoor camper kinda girl. I like to be in hotels. But Rebekah took this photo last August when they went camping.
A SONday afternoon shot of our Colorado skies. Nick had a soccer game and we were driving back from the sports facility. The SONday skies were bright and filled with bright clouds and blue in the 90 degree temps when the weather girl said mid-80's. Making a six figure income to tell the viewers tall tails. S made perfect sense for bright skies and SONday drives. Stop by Jeanne's and share some blues today.

Aw....Monday/Blue Monday/Love is.../Maxine Cracks Me Up/

This pinterest image is so beautiful. It is a KilKennyCatArt and I have to say, I love black cats. So many people think they are not good pets because they are bad luck. That is not true. They are wonderful pets. Here is my Boots in his younger days. I loved that Best Feline Friend :
He was not totally black but he was the love of my favorite feline friends.  He had a milk mustache and his paws and chest were marked with white. He was an amazing cat. Love you and miss you my friend, May 3, 1996 - March 16, 2012. Please visit Sandee and everyone at Aw...Monday today.
This silly kitty looks like Daphne, Zach's silly girl. She is a pretty calico.
I call her "Hey girl" and she always comes to see me but she is still so shy she won;t hang out with all of us. Maybe too many other pets cramp her style. I bet if you visit Jeanne and the folks at Blue Monday you will see that I shared some blues here today.

I won't plant trees, have too many already and two that gave us major financial headaches and plumbing woes! But I am fighting these wild rabbits eating my pretty flowers out of our garden. Argh....Love this sweet love is...
Everyone can relate to Maxine. Somedays she just says what you were thinking! Laughing Out Loud! Smile!
I was at Jury Duty today. The Judge was there, actually two judges spoke to the potential jurors.  I was very grateful and felt extremely blessed not to have been selected. There were some big criminal cases involving murder and vehicular homicide. There were other jurors chosen for civil cases. My name was not drawn and I was so happy. I sat by the sweetest little gal who was 23 years old. She was selected for one of the big criminal case. I felt so bad for her. I saw one lady who was selected walking back to her seat with tears in her eyes. She is probably a very emotional person like me so I was thinking she probably did not want to sit in on a murder trial!  I could not emotionally handle it. I don't even watch crime dramas, they are too violent for me. I am praying for all those jurors selected. One gentleman said murder didn't bother him, he was desensitized  to it! Wow! I wonder how many people feel like him? That is something I could never be. I think our world today seems too casual when they see and hear about such horrible crimes. I am just the opposite, I am a sensitive soul. The letter J was chosen for Judges and Jurors.
My momma always had her hair done beautifully. She always had a cute apron on and she worked so hard taking care of phamily . That is the BoJon way, always has been, always will be.
Uncle Louie was momma's older brother. These photos were taken at his 70th birthday bash. Oh the memories. We always had such fun phamily times.
Mom (second on your left) and the ladies from the KSKJ Lodge No. 7. The sign in front of the stage says "Welcome" in sLOVEnian. You should know my Auntie Ang (third lady on your right) made their costumes. She was a sewing queen and she could create just about any thing you wanted. She once found some gold lame fabric and black fringe in her sewing room and whipped up a Roaring Twenties costume for Noelle  during Halloween. Another time she made a costume for Noelle from scraps of red/white/blue fabric and voila, Noelle was Betsy Ross! I wish I could find those photos! The KSKJ lodge has been good to our phamily. A couple of our kids applied for scholarships and earned them including Nick who received monies during his first two years of college and a one time large chunk of change for his previous year he completed at KWU.  They really help their young members out, Nick has done lots of good volunteer service. Colleges like to offer those services and Nick is always happy to oblige. My BoJon Heritage, makes me smile!
