I am very grateful for Simone. She and her hubby Pastor Jeff are in Oregon these days. She shared this for Easter and I am very blessed to have her in my life. She was a longtime blogger and married Jeff and began their journey pastoring together several years ago. I feel like God gave me these precious gifts for a specifiic reason so I want to share them with you too.
As a small child I learned early the significance of Easter and the season that surrounds it. While enjoying egg hunts and chocolate bunnies I was taught at a very young age what it all means and I spent some quality time on Good Friday going over memories, reading Scripture and remembering all I was taught at such a young age. I am always and forever grateful for my upbringing and I am so happy to know the handful of godly women who keep me upright.
I feel the time is drawing near for the return of Jesus and I do not want to be left behind. If you ever had the opportunity to watch the series Left Behind or read the books by Tim Lahaye it laid out the road map to what we will see coming. I often am shocked at Christians who post things at social media that are so unbecoming to their faith. We are not to worry or trouble ourselves about things of this world. It is what it is and fighting over all of it will not help anyone.
A peek at the prime rib Zach prepared at the wee hours before dawn. Grateful for this. He is willing to grill lamb chops next. I sure love having these crafty cooks in my home.My mother-in-law Rita was a beautiful young lady. I love this photo of her holding a lamb. She was a farm girl and she was a beautiful heart.
A colorful Love is...reminding us sometime it is ok to put all your eggs in one basket. My father always said, don't put all your eggs in one basket but I did right by trusting my love for the past nearly 36 years.
Although Annie has been on hiatus, this quote by a favorite player in the MLB my father talked about to me. I love this so very much,Hoping you had a blessed and very beautiful day. The weather was gracious and as I walked across my yard to check outside lights tonight it feels like rain may be in the forecast.
Sleep well, dream beautifully and praying we meet again.
