THANKFUL THURSDAY

I had minimal sleep on Tiesday night. Yesterday was a terrible, awful, horrible day. Yet here I am. God is good. He saved me from insanity! Please visit Thankful Thursday

My thankfuls:

1. The solar electrician put in the Nest the other energy guys couldn't. He had an extra, the one they sent us was broken. The energy guys had none.

2. Praying the inspector passes our solar. The guy did what he was told to do.

3.

I like to think happy thoughts. Charlie Brown is sure a happy fellow. I mean this literally for all of you who visit me.

4.

Thankful for this guy. Trying to eat french fries with Nick and I ruffled his feathers taking this impromtu photo.

5. Thankful for Nick my youngest and baseball. We ate Smashburger and are still watching the Rockies take on the D-Backs. 4-0 in favor of the Rocks but as Yogi Berra use to say, "it ain't over til it's over!"

6. Love my Linda "Farm Girl". It is her birthday today.

I need to do birthday wishes here. Send 'em my way please. Thankful for Linda, my sweet prayer warrior and friend from Alaska all the way to the wheatfields of Kansas.

7. Thankful to be alive and enjoying a gorgoeus sunny day.

8. Thankful for the rain we had earlier this week. I could never live somewhere where it rains too much. Headache pain is unreal.

9. Thankful for leftover fresh fruit. I have eaten fresh fruit everyday since Easter SONday.

10. Thankful for you! Come back soon.

Happy Tuesday

While Little brother was searching in the rose bed for an egg Big brother was getting ready to snatch one up while Leo watched for the camera. These small boys had a big day yesterday. They make us happy so I had to share them again for Happy Tuesday

Blake was a bit frustrated because he doesn't know the protocol for egg hunts but he is smart and a fast learner. He picks up each egg and states the color of it . He liked stopping and peeking inside. HaHa just like a smart kid. He knows all his colors so well.

Maxine alwats gives her opinion and let's pray they leave her alone in the comic strip.

Aw...Mondays and More

 Aw...Mondays

Rebekah and Avery took a Easter SONday photo with me. We had such a wonderful day. I will blog about our meal each day this week. Zach made a Prime rib, Rebekah baked a Honey Ham. We had a wonderful time and Jeremy and Brittany and kids joined us. They brought yummy green bean casserole. We felt so blessed. The eggs hunted for eggs and each one received a Golden Egg. It was fun for everyone . We are always so grateful to celebrate the Resurrection SONday.  We made similar meals like those we shared with our own parents over the years. Missing two of our kids, Noelle (Roger) and Hannah (Jake). Grateful we can hopefully be all together for Mother's Day.

I am very grateful for Simone. She and her hubby Pastor Jeff are in Oregon these days. She shared this for Easter and I am very blessed to have her in my life. She was a longtime blogger and married Jeff and began their journey pastoring together several years ago. I feel like God gave me these precious gifts for a specifiic reason so I want to share them with you too.

As a small child I learned early the significance of Easter and the season that surrounds it. While enjoying egg hunts and chocolate bunnies I was taught at a very young age  what it all means and I spent some quality time on Good Friday going over memories, reading Scripture and remembering all I was taught at such a young age. I am always and forever grateful for my upbringing and I am so happy to know the handful of godly women who keep me upright.

I feel the time is drawing near for the return of Jesus and I do not want to be left behind. If you ever had the opportunity to watch the series Left Behind or read the books by Tim Lahaye it laid out the road map to what we will see coming. I often am shocked at Christians who post things at social media that are so unbecoming to their faith. We are not to worry or trouble ourselves about things of this world. It is what it is and fighting over all of it will not help anyone.

A peek at the prime rib Zach prepared at the wee hours before dawn. Grateful for this. He is willing to grill lamb chops next. I sure love having these crafty cooks in my home.

A phamily photo of the Robinson bunch on Easter SONday 2021. Addy is getting to be so grown up and the boys, they are something to keep you young at heart, mind and sometime even your body. We enjoyed our day immensely. My father would often say this is what phamily is.  Not wealth, or things, or opinions or advice. Just loving those closest to you. I miss my folks and my honey misses his on this Resurrection SONday.

My mother-in-law Rita was a beautiful young lady. I love this photo of her holding a lamb. She was a farm girl and she was a beautiful heart.

A colorful Love is...reminding us sometime it is ok to put all your eggs in one basket. My father always said, don't put all your eggs in one basket but I did right by trusting my love for the past nearly 36 years.

Although Annie has been on hiatus, this quote by a favorite player in the MLB my father talked about to me. I love this so very much,

Saddened to see the MLB and the PGA jump into the political nonsense. No ryhme, no reason, just sheer pure hatred. So sad. . No matter your views, your thoughts, your opinions, HATRED is HATRED when only one side matters. Tragic. I am grateful my father is not here to witness the absolute destruction of this country and the world as he would have known it. Jesus, we are waiting on you. Please hurry.

Hoping you had a blessed and very beautiful day. The weather was gracious and as I walked across my yard to check outside lights tonight it feels like rain may be in the forecast.

Sleep well, dream beautifully and praying we meet again.

Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a blessed and beautiful Easter SONday. If you are celebrating the Passover, may you have a blessed and beautiful day to as well. God is very good, He is gracious, He is everlasting and He loves us with all His heart.

Once again Joyce in Baton Rouge has shared a powerful message. Jesus is King and He will reign always and forever more.

May your day be filled with the presence of those you love best. May you enjoy new memories and have a blessed meal. Thinking of each one of you as we prepare to celebration the Resurrection Day.
